Two of the UFC Featherweight division’s most exciting fighters take centre stage in this weekend’s UFC Fight Night main event out of the UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York, as Brian Ortega goes to war with Yair Rodriguez. In the co-main Michelle Waterson and Amanda Lemos face off. Also featuring on the card is a fight not to be missed and one that could be a complete bloodbath as Li Jingliang and Muslim Salikhov throw down. UFC Fight Night Betting Tips
Brian Ortega vs. Yair Rodriguez
Brian ‘T City’ Ortega comes into this fight losing two of his last three but those two losses were to current champion Alexander Volkanovski and former champ Max Holloway. Sandwiched in between those losses was a comprehensive victory over The Korean Zombie. T City’s opponent Yair Rodriguez will likely be in line for a title shot if he overcomes T City this weekend yet he was most recently completely dominated by Max Holloway.
I honestly think this fight is pretty clear cut. Ortega is far and away the better fighter, with Rodriguez’ only real route to victory being a flash knockout. While that is a possibility, back Ortega to get the finish. His submission game will be too much for Rodriguez to handle, so bank on T City to get the finish.

Bill Algeo vs. Herbert Burns
I am a massive fan of Bill Algeo as he is an entertaining fighter but this is a terrible match up. Herbert Burns is a bit of a hit or miss type of fighter who has had issues with his weight cutting in the past. However, he has the tools to dominate Algeo if he comes in near 100%. Algeo’s wrestling is poor and anyone who has tried to get him to the mat in the past has done so successfully. Burns is elite on the mat and the route to victory for him is as clear as day. I’m backing the Brazilian to drag Algeo down and snatch up an arm in the first, but we will just back him straight out as the underdog odds are there.

Dustin Jacoby vs. Da Un Jung
The odds here about Dustin Jacoby are silly. He has looked greatly improved in his last couple of fights and has shown he has worked on his wrestling defence. Now I agree Da Un Jung looked impressive securing stoppage victories over Khadis Ibragimov and Mike Rodriguez, however, I think Sam Alvey beat him, in a fight awarded a split draw.
Really what Jung has is raw power but as he meets stiffer competition here. Jacoby will pick apart his lead leg and has much better footwork than his counterpart. If he avoids taking a clean bomb he should win this fight whether that be by stoppage or by decision.
