2024 AFL Round 6 Tips
Thursday April 18th
The Saints fought until the very end against the Giants last weekend but fell one point short in their comeback. They now face the Bulldogs who will be playing with a point to prove after last weekend's embarrassment against the Bombers.
Friday April 19th
The Crows finally got their first win of the season last weekend when they took down the then undefeated Blues. They'll fancy their chances to make it two on the spin when they host the Bombers on Friday night.
Saturday April 20th
One of the potential games of the round will kick off Super Saturday as the Magpies host the Power at the MCG. It's a great chance for both outfits to take an early season scalp.
The Blues suffered their first defeat of the season last weekend and now take on the undefeated Giants. The Blues also have a number of key personnel missing due to injury, which makes a tough task even tougher.
The Lions have reeled off a couple of wins in a row and will be starting to build their confidence in season 2024. They now welcome the unbeaten Cats to the Gabba on Saturday night in a thrilling matchup.
The Eagles tasted rare success with a win over the undermanned Tigers last weekend and that will hold them in good stead for this weekend's Derby against the Dockers. Could we see an upset on the cards?
Sunday April 21st
Sunday's double-header begins with the Swans vs Suns at the SCG. Both clubs have enjoyed solid starts to their respective campaigns, making this a high quality clash to start the day.
The final game of the round sees the two winless clubs in the Kangaroos and the Hawks come together. Both clubs were nothing short of disgraceful in their efforts last weekend, and it'll be interesting to see which team responds in the better fashion.
