In this weekend’s UFC Fight Night, Light Heavyweight prospects Ryan Spann and Nikita Krylov battle it out with the winner likely cracking the top five and moving towards UFC gold. In the co-main, Andre Muniz faces off against Brendan Allen and exciting prospect Tatiana Suarez returns for the first time since 2019 after suffering repeated injuries against Montana De La Rosa.
We take a look at the Ben Talintyre’s best UFC betting tips for this weekend’s card below.
UFC Fight Night Preview & Betting Tips
Nikita Krylov vs. Ryan Spann
Both Nikita Krylov and Ryan Spann come into this weekend’s bout on two fight win streaks and are likely two or three wins away from a title shot. Krylov is in the midst of his second stint in the UFC after going 5-2 the first time round and then asking for a release to gain some more experience after falling short to Misha Cirkunov. He then racked up four wins on the regional scene before returning to the Octagon where he has since beaten former title challengers Alexander Gustafsson and Volkan Oezdemir.
Ryan Spann is a bang or bust type of fighter who has reeled off multiple impressive finishes including knockouts of former challenger Dominick Reyes and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. The likelihood is this fight is a war of attrition and neither man is overly durable which makes the chances of the bout going the distance extremely unlikely. Realistically Krylov is the more well rounded on the feet and is also likely to get the better of any scrambling exchanges. Therefore, I am backing him to secure the stoppage victory.

Augusto Sakai vs. Don’Tale Mayes
In the Heavyweight division Augusto Sakai faces Don’Tale Mayes and this is the last chance for Sakai to save his UFC career as he comes into this bout on a four-fight losing streak, all by the way of knockout. Mayes is honestly pretty awful and is incredibly easy to hit. If Sakai is ever to win a UFC fight again it is here. The Brazilian has a strong leg kicking game and if he fights smart and picks his shots, he just wins this. The odds are enough to offset the risk of him being completely finished.

Tatiana Suarez vs. Montana De La Rosa
There is not much meat on the bone of this pick but it still represents value as this is close to a certainty as you will see in MMA. Tatiana Suarez, I predicted to be a future champion after storming onto the scene but then she suffered a neck injury and then a knee injury which has kept her out of action since 2019.
Suarez won TUF 22 and is known for her strong wrestling, as she showcased when dominating former champion Carla Esparza on the ground. Montana De La Rosa is solid but won’t have any answer for what Suarez has to offer. Ring rust will be her only hope here but Suarez at 25 per cent of what she is capable of should still run through her, max bet play.
