Super Rugby Pacific Round 4 Betting Tips
Blues vs ACT Brumbies
Friday March 7, 5.35pm AEDT
The Blues bounced back to their best last week and put their cards on the table for the title with a strong win over the Hurricanes, winning 33-29. Their start to the 2025 has been a bit on the mixed side, but last week was their best performance of the year by and that sort of effort can see them go all the way. The Brumbies started off their NZ sojourn with a 15 point loss to the Chiefs, but that is nothing to be sneezed at given they are the clear title favourites and for the most part, the Brumbies held their own I thought. But, I just can't see them threatening the Blues.
NSW Waratahs vs Western Force
Saturday March 8, 7.35pm AEDT
The unbeaten run of the Force came to an end last week when going down by four points at the hands of the Reds, who won 28-24 in what was a pretty good game to close out the third round. For the most part, the Force have been pretty good to start 2025, but like most times, but especially them, their defensive reads and set up is very poor, leaking points for fun in all three games. That spells trouble against an attacking side like NSW, who were too good for Fijian Drua in a ripping contest, with a lot of class across both sides. They were coming off the bye so they'll be better for the game and at home, they should be winning.
Crusaders vs QLD Reds
Sunday March 9, 1.35pm AEDT
The last game of the round could spell trouble for the Reds as they take on the Crusaders. The Crusaders aren't the team they once were, where they were the dominant Super Rugby team in this part of the world, but they can still more than hold their own. The Reds got the job done against the Force last week, but I thought at times, they were lucky and were the recipient of bad errors from the Western Force. I doubt they are going to get that from the Crusaders so for me, the Aussie side are going to really struggle against the former champs.
