The UFC heads to Nashville, Tennessee, this weekend for a Fight Night event which has seen a change to its headliner with Rob Font stepping in on short notice to replace Umar Nurmagomedov. He will face Cory Sandhagen. In the co-main Tatiana Suarez faces her toughest test to date against Jessica Andrade and rising Light Heavyweight Kennedy Nzechukwu goes toe-to-toe with Dustin Jacoby. We take a look at my best bets on this weekend’s UFC card below.
UFC Fight Night Preview & Betting Tips
Cory Sandhagen vs. Rob Font
Initially, Cory Sandhagen was set to face off with Umar Nurmagomedov in a mouth-watering affair but after the Dagestani was forced out last month with injury in steps Rob Font. While Font is a higher ranked opponent than the Russian, he is in my opinion an easier opponent for ‘The Sandman’. Font is a sharp boxer and showed that in his last fight, knocking out rising star Adrian Yanez to claim his first finish since 2020.
His opponent, Cory Sandhagen has been facing the Bantamweight elite for the past couple of years and has only fallen to the divisions best Aljamain Sterling, TJ Dillashaw and Petr Yan with the latter two in razor thin decisions. Sandhagen is both a top striker and submission threat who has all the tools to dismantle Font. I see him being better than Font everywhere so back him with confidence to get his hand raised.

Jessica Andrade vs. Tatiana Suarez
Tatiana Suarez, I believe will inevitably be a future champion. She stormed onto the UFC scene but then she suffered a neck injury and then a knee injury which kept her out of action for more than three years. She returned earlier this year against Montana De La Rosa and made it look like she never left, easily dismantling her foe.
Her opponent Jessica Andrade is a former champion and one of the hardest hitters at 115 pounds but she is past her best now. She has lost her last two by finish and was rag dolled by Erin Blanchfield who is a strong grappler but not the pedigree of Suarez. Suarez’s incredible top game, wrestling and submission threat makes this a nightmare for the former champ and one which shapes to be a one-sided domination from the American contender.

Tanner Boser vs. Aleksa Camur
Tanner Boser at one point in time was considered a serious prospect but the hype was relatively short lived as he has lost his last two fights, most recently by first round knockout to Ion Cutelaba. His opponent Aleksa Camur went 6-0 to kick off his professional career but finds himself on a two fight skid.
While Boser isn’t what many thought he would be, he still should clearly have the measure of Camur. He won’t have to worry about the takedowns of Camur meaning he will be able to open up offensively and he carries the power, movement and IQ advantage over his less experienced opponent. Back the Canadian to return to the winners circle this weekend.
