Rosehill will be an interesting card on Saturday as it hosts some exciting races.
Blake Lalor is back as he has identified this three best bets of the day. Check out his Rosehill racing tips below!
Rosehill Racing Tips: Saturday June 3rd
Race 3: Midway bm72 1400m – 12:10 (AEST)
(7) Victory Lane looked shot to bits last time coming into the straight but exploded through the line over the 1200m. Looks well placed up to 1400m now and can produce a big performance.
(2) Awesome Lad finished well 1st up and should be fitter 2nd up. He’s drawn well and showed consistent form last prep so should do the same this time in.
(9) Sweet Mercy is a capable filly but is just drawn wide today. If she can overcome the barrier she could threaten going back-to-back but barrier 12 might make it tough.
(7) Victory Lane e/w
$8.00/$2.70 (1 unit)
Race 4: 3&4YO Bm72 1400m – 12:45 (AEST)
(14) Gracilistyla is the top hope for mine in this race. There are a few speed influences drawn wide who should ensure a solid tempo which this horse will love. He’ll settle midfield and after having absolutely no luck last start and being cuddled up in 2 recent trials, he’s ready to go fresh in a weaker race than he contested last time as favourite.
(1) Space Tracker could be good but isn’t trustworthy on 2 local trials since arriving from overseas. He needs to have at least 1 or more races under his belt in Australia to gauge his true capabilities and until then he doesn’t deserve favouritism for mine.
(5) Semana is in good form and won nicely last start but is drawn wide here and will need to cross the entire field if she’s to get a soft run and potentially win this race.
(14) Gracilistyla e/w
$8.00/$3.00 (2 units)
Race 10: F&M Bm78 1200m – 16:20 (AEST)
(9) Miss Hellfire is the deserved favourite after her win last start. Frankly, it’s hard to see a way she loses if she performs similarly and receives a similar run from an inside draw.
(5) Winning Verse may be some sort of danger here but was comfortably beaten by this favourite the last time they met. No clear reason she can turn the tables but it is always possible.
(1) Cythera comes back in grade significantly to compete in her first ever benchmark race after racing in only black-type races to date. She’s been close on occasion but isn’t dropping in grade for no reason.
(9) Miss Helfire e/w
$4.40/$1.80 (1 unit)
