Rosehill returns this weekend and the races are packed full of undefeated and well in-form horses who have strung together long sequences of wins. It’ll be interesting to see who can continue that form and inevitably who breaks the winning streak. Good luck if you’re on our top selections below!
Rosehill Racing Tips: Saturday July 1st
Race 2: Bm78 F&M – 1400m (11:35 AEST)
(2) Ringarosa will be a solid chance in this race having run 7th with no luck last time behind a wall of horses. She was a winner prior, is drawn perfectly here and has Jason Collett sticking with her for the 5th consecutive race.
(1) Semana will be in the top few across the line no doubt. She’s ultra-consistent and takes luck out of the equation with her on-pace racing style. Expect her to go well, although she is short.
(7) Sweet Mercy has been better than her record looks on paper recently and she’s not out of this race by any means. That said, she is slightly outgunned by a few so is only a chance for minors.
(2) Ringarosa e/w
$10/$2.6 (1 unit)
Race 3: Bm72 3&4YO – 1500m (12:10 AEST)
(2) Gracilistyla is overdue for a win now. He’s had 2 horrible runs so far this prep and is crying out for some luck in running. Hopefully he gets that here and finally rewards his followers.
(1) Resonator can’t be left out although he’s not the top selection here. He’ll be leading this race and there doesn’t look to be too much pace in it, however, Gracilistyla shouldn’t be too far away turning into the straight.
(10) Bat Out Of Hell is an up and comer who may be worth keeping an eye on. He boasts an exceptionally consistent record, hasn’t stepped up to the big leagues just yet but could do so here.
(2) Gracilistyla win
$4.40 (2 units)
Race 5: Highway Class 3 – 1100m (13:20 AEST)
(3) Mogo Magic hasn’t put a hoof wrong in his career to date and finds another nice stepping stone here to continue his winning ways as an undefeated racehorse. Recent trial was exceptional.
(12) Smart Roostar is drawn ok here and is also undefeated. Dylan Gibbons will ride so the horse looks capable of running a solid race up in grade.
(15) Tai Lung is trained by Terry Robinson and he knows how to win a highway. He wouldn’t have this horse here if it wasn’t capable of winning and he’s begun his prep well with a win and 2nd placing in 2 starts.
(3) Mogo Magic win
$2.00 (3 units)
