Randwick-Kensington Racing Tips: Wednesday, March 27th 2024
Race 5: Yarraman Park BM78 1550m – 4:05pm (AEDT)
(1) Russian Roni $5.00: 4YO Gelding who showed promise first up in this grade where he was narrowly beaten. Rises in distance now and draws a nice gate to be able to sit on pace where you want to be. Apprentice jockey jumps on with a 2kg claim which puts him right in this again. Goes well.
(4) Time Quest $4.20: 5YO gelding who hasn’t been far away at all. Boasts a nice resume and is deserving a win. Draws a nice gate and gets a nice jockey on board. Proven third up and ready to peak now. Maps well and worth thought.
(1) Russian Roni
$5.00 (1 Unit)
Race 6: All Too Hard @ Vinery Stud BM78 1150m 4:40pm (AEDT)
(3) Ballroom Bella $3.50: 3YO filly who drops back to 78 grade after a handy run in listed company last start. She flew home late and finished third there. Looks solid back in 78 grade now and will only be fitter for this third up run. Draws a nice gate and expect her to sit just off the pace and can hopefully show that nice TOF to score late.
(2) Able Willie $4.50: 5YO gelding who was excellent first up where he timed his run nicely to score. He had the fastest last 200m at the track on that day. J-Mac stays on and performs well second up. Can go on with it here.
(3) Ballroom Bella
$3.50 (2 Units)
Race 8: Tab BM78 1800m–5:50pm (AEDT)
(3) City Of Lights $2.10: 4YO mare, sister to WINX who ran okay in Group 3 company last start. She had nice late sectionals and should’ve finished closer with some interference midrace. Gets up in distance now and drops back to 78 grade. Will be hard to beat third up here if she gets the right run. May need some luck if she gets caught inside behind the leaders.
(1) Special Swey $23/$5.50: 4YO who wasn’t disgraced first up. He is a proven Group 3 winner over 2000m and must be respected in this grade over this trip. Draws a sticky gate, but doesn’t look to be much speed on paper, so expect him to ping the lids and get to the front and dictate the race. If he brings his best form, he is good enough here to win at big odds. Worth thought each way.
(3) City Of Lights
$2.10 (2.5 Units)
