Randwick-Kensington Racing Tips: Wednesday, March 26th 2025
Race 4: Buy An Arrowfiled Yearling BM78 – 1800m – 3:30pm (AEDT)
(1) State Of America $7.00/$2.90: 5YO Gelding who won three handy races over 1800m, 2140m and 2000m with two of them being by more than 2L. Took on open grade to end his campaign and was in the market as a $3.90 chance, but finished 5th. Turned out after that and returned last week in BM88 grade. He has never won fresh and 1400m was too short. Much prefer him out to 1800m now for this second up run. Gets back to BM78 grade and too midweek company. Gets relief with a 3kg claim on top. Rates well with that and will be rattling home. Each way.
(2) Inquiring Minds $4.40: 5YO gelding who won over the mile three runs back in this grade, but then failed to fire over 2100m in BM88. Dropped back again after that and was strong finishing second behind O’Ziggy which is a nice form line. Slightly back in trip here and must be considered. J-Mac back into the saddle.
(6) Campaldino $2.50: 4YO who was good first up finishing second behind Mawjood over 1400m. Looks suited out to further and Tim Clark steers with a gun draw. Expect him to be dictating for a long way. Hard to catch.
(1) State Of America E/W
$7.00/$2.90 (1 Unit)
Race 6: Vinnie Three Time Champion Sire BM78 - 1150m - 4:50pm (AEDT)
(2) Ballroom Bella $4.60: 4YO Mare who resumes today and has trailed nicely on both occasions. She has been competing against must tougher company most recently and this is sure to be a nice little confidence booster. Gets in well with the 3kg claim and has won fresh before. Sticky gate, but she should be going close against these.
(4) Perspiration $5.00: 3YO Colt who won the Heritage stakes at nice odds in his last run. Returns today with no public trials and is yet to win fresh, but must be considered off that form.
(5) Memoria $10/$2.70: Nice little roughie of the field who has the race fitness over a few of these. Has been sound of late and gets a nice 3kg claim for this fourth up run. Draws well and will be around the mark. Value.
(2) Ballroom Bella
$4.60 (1.5 Units)
Race 8: Tab BM72 - 1400m – 5:50pm (AEDT)
(4) Climb The Ladder $6.00/$2.20: Freshened 3YO gelding who has been good in all three runs. Won his maiden by almost 5L over this trip. Ran home well in this class last start. Likely to only improve. Each way.
(5) Tehina $20/$5.00: Roughie of the day who was impressive last start in BM64 grade holding them off to win by a length. May be a wet track specialist, but hasn’t been that far away when on the dry. Rises to 1400m and must be considered with the light weight. Sticky gate, but must be respected off last starts win.
(9) Canara $5.00/$2.00: 3YO Filly who returned nicely finishing second behind Written In Code at Randwick 2 weeks ago. Looks suited out to 1400m. Fitter and looks a top hope.
(5) Tehina E/W
$20/$5.00 (1 Unit)
