Randwick Racing Tips: Tuesday, December 26th 2023
Race 4: Toyota Forklifts BM72 1400m at 3:20pm AEDT
(7) DIVINE VICKY ($5.00/$2.00) – 4YO mare who hasn’t been that far away of late. This field looks a touch easier on paper for her and I expect her to be hitting the line well as per usually. 2 weeks between runs and should be hard fit for this. Happy to have at an each way price.
(10) VERY SEWREEL ($5.00/$2.00) – 3YO Filly who was too speedy for them first up this prep and gets another nice draw. Expect her to ping the lids and dictate from the front again, should be fitter second up. Can’t take this stable lightly with there speedy fillies. Goes well at an each way price. Watch the market.
(7) DIVINE VICKY E/W
$5/$2 (1U/2U)
Race 6: All Too Hard @ Vinery Stud BM72 1000m at 4:40pm AEDT
(5) TEMPLE RUN ($6.50/$2.35) – 9YO veteran who had a gutsy win last start at Gosford carrying 60kg.He goes up in class now, but drops 2kg off that previous outing. He loves this distance and looks capable of going on with it here. Draws a nice gate and gets J. FORD in the saddle. Expecting him to slot in with cover before he peels out and shows that exciting TOF he produced last start. Looks a good value bet here.
(4) BORDER CONTROL ($5.00/$2.00) – 6YO gelding who hasn’t missed the quinella in his last 4 runs. Not far away in this grade last start. Should be fitter again and looks to be one of the main dangers among these ones. Goes well.
(5) TEMPLE RUN E/W
$6.50/$2.35 (1U/2U)
Race 7: Schweppes Summer Cup 2000m at 5:20pm AEDT
(5) LIONS ROAR ($2.90) – 6YO gelding who has won a group 1 race. Huge run last start to narrowly miss. He looks primed for this trip now and the market agrees. Draws well and only has to carry 55kg here. He will be flying late and be hard to beat.
(8) REGAL LION ($27/$5.50) – 5YO gelding who looks to be the roughie chance of the race here. 5 back he won well in open class up in QLD, but has failed to fire since. He has good enough speed to match these other ones on paper and is worth a small play at big odds, but he will need to bring his A game. Second up and strips fitter.
(5) LIONS ROAR
$2.90 (2 Units)
