Nice 10-race card on Saturday at Randwick, one of the final metro meetings of the year. Looking forward to getting into it and hunting for an early Christmas present among the talented horses going around.

Randwick Racing Tips: Saturday December 23rd
Race 5: Doyle's Breeding And Racing (Bm74) - 1600m (13:50 AEST)
*Scracted* (3) Eau De Vie is racing well and is held in high regard by some who were willing to place her in a G3 last prep. She doesn’t seem to handle heavy going but soft is ok. Overpriced?
(4) Built is a better price after beating Clear Choice last start. There shouldn’t be much between them here again in similar conditions but i’d lean the way of the one who holds the upper hand H2H.
(2) Clear Choice went down narrowly after hitting the lead early last time and gets a favourable weight swing. Not out of this by any means.
Race 8: Chweppes (Bm100) - 1400m (15:40 AEST)
*Scratched* (11) Chrysaor was able to get up for us last time at huge odds. He’s been off for some time since but can return well here in a race that could be considered an easier assignment.
(4) Waihaha Falls is serially underpriced in the market. Huge chance but wide draw and short odds are not appealing whatsoever.
(8) Our Redente was 2nd in listed grade behind Ghaanati last time down south. Somewhat inconsistent of late but can get in the finish if brings his best.
Race 9: Vale Mr Alan 'Jock' Gollogly (Bm78) - 1800m (16:20 AEST)
(4) Aristonous was good closing off 1st up behind Zoe’s Promise. His form is littered with good horses who either appear promising or have proven to be talented. Can stand up here 2nd up.
(6) Too Much Caviar will likely lead this field and can run well. Only concern is he’s fresh and slightly short of his best distance. Not out of it and will make his own luck.
(8) State Of America is racing well and will benefit from Tommy Berry jumping in the saddle this weekend. His win a few starts ago was phenomenal and he can go close to repeating that here.
(4) Aristonous
