Warwick Farm Racing Tips: Wednesday, June 26th 2024
Race 7: The Agency Civic Stakes 1400m– 3:55pm (AEST)
(1) Tamerlane $3.50: 6YO gelding who appeared that he needed the run first up and the weather effected track first up did no favours. Has since had a trial on the heavy going and bolted in. Goes out to 1400m now for this second up run where four career wins have come from. Proven second up and goes well on the soft track. Draws a nice gate with J-Mac in the saddle and maps nicely to get a run up on the speed giving the others to catch. Looks the one to beat here.
(4) Strait Acer $8.50: 4YO gelding who is deserving of another win. Gets back in class now and boasts a nice record over this trip and track. Proven on the soft and worth thought again here.
(16) Mirra View $51.00: Huge roughie who hasn’t had much luck with barriers all prep, but not disgraced. If track remains heavy she is a huge sniff here.
(1) Tamerlane
$3.50 (1.5 Units)
Race 8: Maurice At Arrowfield BM72 1100m– 4:30pm (AEST)
(9) Pisanello $4.40: 3YO gelding who is freshened up after going okay in this grade at Randwick on the heavy, but probably needs the track in a little better condition. Prior to that won by 3.5L at scone over this trip. J-Mac jumps off Dipsy Doodle to ride which must be respected and is a main danger here. If the rain stays away id be backing him for sure, but still keen on a small wager regardless here.
(1) Dipsy Doodle $4.80: 3YO filly who was set to race in tougher grade on the weekend and was put up as a $2.50 favourite, prior to the meeting being abandoned. Drops back in grade now and competes at midweek level. Will have to carry top weight, but must be respected and resumes with two trials under her belt. Goes close!
(14) Divine Vicky $21.00: Roughie of the field who is unbeaten from 1 run on the heavy and goes well over this trip. Draws wide, but worth an each way play here.
(9) Pisanello
$4.40 (1 Unit)
MULTI
TAMERLANE into PISSANELLO at $14 looks a nice little 2 leg multi for the day and is worth having something small on
TIP: Tamberlane & Pisanello to Win ($14 at BoomBet 0.5 Units)
