Canterbury Park Racing Tips: Wednesday, May 29th 2024
Race 1: The Agency Real Estate Mdn Hcp - 1:00pm (AEST)
(1) Determination $7.50/$2.20: 3YO with racing experience which gives him s a nice edge against the others here. Should be peaking now for this third up run and gets a nice draw. Tommy Berry for Waller looks appealing. Worth thought here after last starts efforts.
(6) Indigo Star $3.70: 2YO colt who is the stablemate to the top weight and has trialled well. Market has him on top here, so worth thought and expecting him to go well.
(2) Fair Maiden $4.00: 3YO filly who has trialled nicely and looks ready to fire here. Taking on trust of this stable and the key booking of Nash Rawiller here. Draws low and looks a good chance.
(1) Determination E/W
$7.50/$2.20 (1U/2U)
Race 5: Admire Mars at Arrowfield BM72 1550m– 3:20pm (AEST)
(2) Sailor $10.00/$2.90: 6YO who won well over the mile two back and then wasn’t that bad last start. Gets back onto the soft track now and draws a nice gate. Up in class, but gets a 3kg claim which puts him right in this again. Rock hard fit and is proven on the wet track. Looks a nice value pick here.
(9) Missile Seeker $6.00/$2.15: 3YO who has been consistent all prep and looks ready for the small rise in trip. Rock hard fit and we can get an each way price.
(4) Lyrical Gangster $10.00/$2.90: 4YO who is resuming out of the Waller stable and key rider Nash Rawiller is in the saddle. Trials haven’t been great, but he is proven first up. Watch the market.
(2) Sailor E/W
$10.00/$2.90 (1 Unit)
Race 6: Robrick Lodge BM72 1250m - 3:55pm (AEST)
(3) Bunker Hut $5.00/$2.00: 4YO who drops back to 72 grade where he narrowly missed two back carrying 61kg. Gets a 3kg claim today and draws a nice gate. Drops to 1250m now after his last three runs being over 1400m. Rock hard fit though and does his best work when he is four or more runs into his prep. Worth thought here at an each way price.
(8) Little Cointreau $5.00: Resuming 4YO who boasts a handy record and looks suited fresh over this trip. Will be around the mark.
(6) Rhythmic Pulse $15/$4: Roughie of the field who loves this distance and track. Needs to get back in form though as two previous runs have been flat. If he turns up he is a good chance at big odds.
(3) Bunker Hut E/W
$5.00/$2.00 (1U/2U)
