Golden State Warriors at Miami Heat
Kaseya Center, 10:30am AEDT
Looking to bounce back from a pair of losses, the Warriors will head to Miami on Wednesday to take on the Heat. The Warriors are going through a tough period at the moment with only four wins from their last 11 games, and that’s seen them come under significant danger of coughing up a top 10 spot in the West. Meanwhile, the Heat have recovered since their four-game losing streak in early March to win four of their last six games and remain in touch with the top six in the East. They’ve already secured at least a Play-In berth but will be looking to avoid that tournament altogether. This is a crucial game for both teams and the bookies have found it tough to split the pair in the H2H market; however, the Heat have been in the slightly better form over the past couple of weeks and have homecourt advantage on their side. With that in mind, I’m happy to back them in at decent odds.

Los Angeles Lakers at Milwaukee Bucks
Fiserv Forum, 10:30am AEDT
The Lakers recently finished their four-game homestand where they won their final three games to go 3-1. They knocked off a couple of quality teams in their last two outings with wins coming against the 76ers and most recently the Pacers, which made it five wins in their last eight overall. The Lakers are now three games clear of the 11th placed Rockets but are also three games behind the 6th placed Kings, meaning they’ll have to finish on a tear to avoid the Play-In Tournament. Elsewhere, the Bucks have been ticking over the win column with regularity all season and will more than likely secure a playoff berth in the next fortnight. They’re second in the East as it stands and seven games clear of 6th spot. In major lineup news for this clash, LeBron James is listed as out along with four other Lakers teammates, while Anthony Davis is also a game-time decision. That makes an incredibly tough game even tougher, and I’m happy to be with the Bucks to secure an easy win as a result.

Dallas Mavericks at Sacramento Kings
Golden 1 Center, 1pm AEDT
Last to go on Wednesday’s four-game slate will see the Mavericks head to Sacramento to take on the Kings at the Golden 1 Center. The Mavericks are currently riding a four-game win streak with a pair of those coming against the Jazz. They’re now 7th in the West and only half a game outside the top six in what’s a very tight playoff race. Meanwhile, the Kings are 6th in the West and enter this contest on a two-game win streak, with both wins coming against top eight teams in the East. The Kings have also won four of their last five games at home and will be at full strength on Wednesday, while the Mavs will be without Josh Green and potentially superstar Luka Doncic who’s a game-time decision. Regardless of Luka’s availability, the Kings have won the past two as well as three of their past four meetings with the Mavs, and I like their chances once again here.
