The UFC card this weekend may not be full of the star-studded match ups that UFC 290 brought about but there are still some intriguing affairs to satisfy fight fans thirst. In the main event, Holly Holm meets rising Brazilian contender Mayra Bueno Silva, while in the co-main Albert Duraev and Park Jun Yong lock horns. Also on the card is rising stars Terrance McKinney and Ottman Azaitar. We take a look at my best bets on this weekend’s card below.
UFC Fight Night Preview & Betting Tips
Holly Holm vs. Mayra Bueno Silva
Holly Holm returns to action this weekend to face surging Brazilian, Mayra Bueno Silva. The former champion is now 41 and while in her last few fights she has evidently slowed down, she still is strong in the clinch and possesses technical striking that will cause her opponent some real trouble this weekend.
Bueno Silva is on a three-fight win streak and is 6-2 in the Octagon. She is a dangerous grappler as shown in her victory over Lina Lansberg last time out, with a slick kneebar. However, she is going to have a massive headache getting on the inside and even if she manages that will have an even harder time taking down the former champ. She also is the smaller woman making the possibility of her being able to close the distance, get inside, take Holm down and submitting her an unlikely outcome.
Holm should be far too good here, likely winning by decision but a highlight reel head kick is also a great chance so will just back her to get the win.

Albert Duraev vs. Park Jun Yong
Both Albert Duraev and Park Jun Yong are neither prospects nor solidified stars, making this a peculiar co-headliner but it is one we can profit off nonetheless. Jun Yong is on a three-fight win streak and is 7-2 in the UFC. While Duraev is 2-1 in the Octagon and in his sole loss looked badly outclassed by Joaquim Buckley who is far from a star himself. While Duraev may have early success he isn’t active enough, nor has the gas tank to get into a grind, which is the type of fight that ‘Iron Turtle’ will make it.
The Korean is too good at the grind and will smother Duraev as he fades throughout the fight. He loves a scrap and that is what it is going to be, so back him to extend his win streak to four.

Walt Harris vs. Josh Parisian
This is a fascinating Heavyweight contest as Walt Harris meets the once highly touted prospect Josh Parisian. Harris is known for his explosive knockout power but he has not won a fight since 2019. Luckily for him, Parisian is the perfect fighter for him to get back into the winner’s circle against. He will trade with Harris on the feet but is much slower and does not pack the power ‘Big Ticket’ does. Back Harris to get his hand raised this weekend but don’t go overboard as it is a Heavyweight fight after all.
