The Group 1 Kewney and Newmarket Handicaps are also highlights with Treasurethemoment the hot favourite in the Kewney, while it’s $5.00 the field in the Newmarket. Race 4: Furphy Shaftesbury Avenue Handicap - 1:45pm (AEDT)
(6) Fancify I picked on this site last time when 6th but she was unlucky on that occasion when they went too hard in front. He led last time and will likely got forward from barrier 11 and try and get the one out, one back position in 4th during the run. She loves Good tracks having won 5 times from 9 starts and although she will need a peach of a ride from Joe Bowditch from out there I think we will be safe playing Each-Way.
(2) Nugget has jumped out well recently but hasn’t won in 2 years. Another who enjoys Good tracks and he is first up from a spell.
(10) Is It Me has drawn well in 3 and is the deserved favourite really. Excellent win on this track last time but I wonder if he is better on Soft tracks.
(6) Fancify Each-Way

Race 6: The Australia Cup Prelude - 2:55pm (AEDT)
(9) Berkshire Breeze is an outside chance and worth a small bet here I reckon. He does need further ground but he trialed up well enough for this and he does like Flemington. Ethan Brown has won 3 times on top and Berkshire Breeze’ second up form is good. On resumption at Caulfield he just jogged around really when 5th but he did pass a few over the final 100m. Despite needing 3000m, he has won over 2000m before.
(10) Aramco is fitter again and was beaten under a length when 3rd at this track last start. He may get to double figure odds here but he has won 4 from 9 races on Good tracks and has Waller in his corner.
(6) Young Werther loves Flemington and he has drawn to get a soft run. He has been in the money in over half of his career starts over this distance.
(9) Berkshire Breeze Each-Way

Race 8: TAB & World Pool Kewney Stakes Group 2- 4:10pm (AEDT)
(1) Treasurethemoment won easily first up at Caulfield and that win will have only made her fitter for Flemington, a track she loves. A Dry track suits and when racing over the mile for the first time she won well when settling 3rd in the run. She will probably settle in a similar position here She has won her last 5 starts and the Group 1 Australian Oaks winner gets her favourite jockey in Damien Lane on top. She probably won’t get to even money, but she should win.
(4) London’s Image comes over from WA and will appreciate a Dry track. Failed in her only run over the mile but she led all of the way in the Breeders Crown at Bunbury three starts back.
(6) Cilicap has drawn out in 10 but will likely settle in the second half of the field anyway. The stable is flying and she is 1 from 1 when second up.
