The UFC returns to the Apex Center in Las Vegas, Nevada this weekend for a Fight Night card headlined by Lightweight contenders Mateusz Gamrot and Rafael Fiziev. In the co-main, Bryce Mitchell returns to take on an ever game Dan Ige and Marina Rodriguez looks to register a win against Michelle Waterson as she attempts to return to the title picture. We take a look at my best bets on this weekend’s UFC card below.
UFC Fight Night Preview & Betting Tips
Rafael Fiziev vs. Mateusz Gamrot
Both Rafael Fiziev and Mateusz Gamrot have shown why they are considered two of the top prospects in the Lightweight division. Fiziev in his last fight dropped a competitive decision to Justin Gaethje but before that loss registered wins over the likes of Rafael dos Anjos, Brad Riddell and Renato Moicano. While his opponent Mateusz Gamrot has victories over Arman Tsarukyan and Jalin Turner.
This fight comes down to if Fiziev can catch the Pole. Gamrot has been knocked down in his last three fights and Fiziev has shown a real killer instinct in his Octagon career. That being said I believe Gamrot will come out on top.
He is a serious problem for the division and a loss to Beneil Dariush has seen him lose some of his shine which is rather harsh. He has great cardio and can sustain a high pace. I believe he smothers Fiziev on route to a decision victory.

Bryce Mitchell vs. Dan Ige
Bryce Mitchell was outworked last time out by title challenge Ilia Topuria. While he may seem like a brawler he is actually incredibly skilled on the ground and has a decent fight IQ. His opponent Dan Ige is on a two-fight winning streak but has shown an inability to make adjustments to issues that have long plagued him. Primarily a striker, Ige has never had high output and has struggled when he has been put on his back, which is horrible news for the Hawaiian this weekend.
Ige doesn’t have the power to dissuade repeated takedown attempts and although his wrestling defence is decent, ‘Thug Nasty’ can persist and repeatedly get him to the mat and hunt for submissions. Back Mitchell to register a dominant win this weekend.

Mizuki Inoue vs. Hannah Goldy
Mizuki Inoue is 1-1 since joining the UFC in 2019 with a win over Wu Yanan and a loss to Amanda Lemos. Her opponent Hannah Goldy is 1-3 with her sole win being an armbar submission win over Emily Whitmire.
Inoue may have been outmuscled in the past and if you look at Goldy you may be like ‘she looks like she could do that’ but she fails to implement her strength. After two years away working with expert striking coach Ray Longo Inoue should return an even more feared striker than before. Expect her to piece up Goldy.
