2024 AFL Round 24 Tips
Friday August 23rd
Round 24 begins on Friday night with a clash at the home of footy between the Demons and the Magpies. Unfortunately, it is a dead rubber, however, both teams will be keen to leave everything out there in their final game of the year.
Saturday August 24th
The Cats will be hosting an undermanned Eagles outfit in the first game on Super Saturday as they look to luck up a top four spot. This one should be all one-way traffic in favour of the home side.
Damien Hardwick comes up against his old club for the second time in 2024 when his Suns face the Tigers second up on Saturday. The Suns will go into this one as the favourites despite struggling on the road this season.
The Hawks have the opportunity to lock in a finals berth with a win over the Kangaroos in Saturday's twilight fixture. They'll be the overwhelming favourites to do just that!
The Lions blew a huge opportunity last weekend and need to bounce back against the Bombers to finish as high as possible. One suspects they'll come out on top on their home deck.
The Swans have had a shaky second half of the season but will end the year as the minor premiers. They'll take on the Crows who will be without Izak Rankine in their final home and away fixture.
Sunday August 25th
Two modern day rivals kick off proceedings on Sunday with the Bulldogs and the Giants locking horns in Ballarat. There's a lot riding on this one and it should be an absolute cracker!
The Blues can secure a spot in the finals with a win on Sunday and it'll be the Saints who will look to spoil the party. This will be a very interesting watch, and the bookies have found it hard to split the pair.
The final fixture of the 2024 home and away season will play out in Perth when the Dockers host the Power at Optus Stadium. Depending on prior results in Round 24, there could be an enourmous amount to play for in this one.
