After a makeshift Opening Round of the 2025 AFL Season where only four teams were in action, supporters of all clubs can get excited about Round 1 which is a full nine-match round.
Action gets underway on Thursday night with what’s expected to be an extremely one-sided affair in favour of the Blues against the Tigers, while Friday night’s fixture should be a lot more competitive as the Hawks play the Bombers. Saturday sees four matches play out across the day, before the round concludes with three Sunday fixtures.
