The Course
Quail Hollow Golf Club, Charlotte, North Carolina
7,538 Yards, Par 71
Course Record: 61 - Rory McIlroy (2015)
One of the highest profile golf courses on the PGA Tour, Quail Hollow is just a year removed from hosting the Presidents Cup. It was designed by George Cobb and opened for play in the 1960s and was upgraded to combat the more modern player by Tom Fazio in 2017.
The famous stretch of closing holes known as the ‘Green Mile’ is one of the most infamous groupings of holes in the world and Quail Hollow annually ranks within the top five hardest courses on tour.
Driving accuracy and Par 5 performance annually rank among the most important stats to top performers at Quail Hollows. The difficulty of the Par 4s mean you have to take advantage of the Par 5s if you want to succeed.
Betting Tips
Viktor Hovland ($19/Top 20 $2.10)
Love the look of the Norwegian star here as the best of the big dogs for the Wells Fargo. He has been in some stellar form of late, finishing T3 at The Players and T7 at The Masters. Was really solid at Quail Hollow in his first trip to the Wells Fargo back in 2021, finishing T3 behind Rory McIlroy and Abraham Ancer. Ranks 1st overall in rough proximity and 4th in total driving this season.
Rickie Fowler ($36/Top 30 $2.05)
It warms the heart to see Rickie Fowler back playing good golf again. He has been in some great form this season, making the cut in 12 of his 13 events played and finishing in the top 20 in seven of his last eight starts. A really high finish or even a win is the last thing to tick off this season
Keith Mitchell ($56/Top 40 $2.00)
The No.51 ranked player in the world comes into the tournament in solid form despite having missed the cut at the RBC a few weeks ago. He made the cut in his eight previous tournaments, including four top 25 finishes and topped it off with a T6 at the Zurich Classic in his last start. Finished T8 and T3 in his last two trips to Quail Hollow.
