There are three ATP Tour level events on this week which presents the opportunities to find some great value in the outright markets. As such, tennis expert Ace has provided his thoughts and betting strategy for all three events, which you can find below.

ATP Barcelona
The outright markets for this one are heavily weighted towards Carlos Alcaraz, and deservedly so. While I don’t see myself as being keen to heavily back or oppose Carlos in any capacity at the current quotes, I have looked to some other outrights in the search for value. I have a very high opinion of Jannik Sinner, who is currently sitting in the bottom half of the draw, however the odds for the Italian look to be a little under my projected odds, so I will be passing on him as well. Although still easing his way back into the swing of things off the back of some injury issues, the $8.50 each-way for Stefanos Tsitsipas looks solid given his draw. He shares a quarter with other seeds Shapovalov, Dimitrov and De Minaur, and on current form should be able to make a push for the final 4 at worst. Each-way at half odds with the worst way home being Sinner and Alcaraz is a price I am happy to take. Watch for Tsitsipas as he builds form as we progress towards Roland Garros.

This field presents as an interesting one, with two players at the top of the market coming off big weeks in Monte Carlo (Rune and Fritz), and one of the co-favourites on the comeback to top form after his major injury at Roland Garros last year (Zverev). There is not doubting that Zverev is building his overall form, however he is not yet at the level where I would want to be jumping into odds under $4 to win a tournament outright. Rune is backing up off a long week at ATP1000 Level, and he looks unders. There is an opportunity to oppose him first up with Yannick Hanfmannas a longer odds outright selection, as well as nibbling the German in the outright market. If there is a time to play Rune this week, I think it is first-up. Hanfmann has the game to trouble the top names, and at $26 it will be a small each-way selection.
I also thought that Seb Baez looked a little tired last week in Monte Carlo, after what has been a busy couple of months for him. He presents as a tricky opponent in the 2nd quarter, and is another I am keen to back in the outrights and quarters.

Another tournament, another short-priced favourite in Novak Djokovic. Again, I am digging around for some value in these markets, and I have settled on a player in the other half of the draw. The player that caught my eye is Alex Molcan at $20+. He has the game to threaten at his best, and although he is plagued by inconsistency, as we saw in round 1 against Daniel, his best level justifies a small play at the current pricing when you look at the bottom half of the draw.
