Zhizhen Zhang vs Tim Van Rijthoven

Just a small play here on Zhizhen Zhang at the game handicap, however he does present as a touch of value here against Tim Van Rijthoven coming off the grass season of his career.
It was a strong qualifying performance from Zhang, dropping serve only twice across his three straight set wins. It follows a strong Challenger performance last week, losing to Machac in the final. Zhang is surging towards the Top 100 off the back of his recent Challenger exploits, and a strong start here in round 1 will go a long way.
Van Rijthoven is a slightly tricky player to place, given the remarkable rise in ranking off the back of his grass season in winning an ATP title. He'd be even higher were it not for no ranking points from Wimbledon, however we last saw him retiring in the Indianapolis Challenger a month ago. Coming off limited tennis, against a player who handled the conditions exceptionally in qualifying and has recent hardcourt form, is a little too much to ask for mine at the current Van Rijthoven handicap. The $1.90 for -3 games at Topsport also appeals here.
