CYCLOPS athlete gaming vs Black Dragon e-Sports
Six Jönköping Major 2022
CYCLOPS athlete gaming and Black Dragon e-Sports have a tough group to make out of, as they need to deliver against MNM Gaming and Soniqs. Beating MNM won't be that difficult, but Soniqs should be set to end the group as the top team, leaving MNM, Dragons, and CYCLOPS to battle it out for the second seed.
We could try to create a tier list dividing MNM, CYCLOPS, and the Dragons by the likelihood of them making it to the playoffs, but realistically, there isn't much to separate them. MNM and CYCLOPS might look weaker on paper, but it's not like Dragons can't lose.
CYCLOPS' biggest disadvantage is their inconsistency, which can mean they'll either show up or fall apart. They have looked good domestically and have shown some good performances in international events, but their inconsistency worries me.
Black Dragon e-Sports are a bit more stable, but you have to ask yourself whether they'll manage to respond to CYCLOPS' aggressive playstyle. They should be able to on paper, but I still wouldn't say that the Dragons deserve to be 1.44 favourites for this match.
Opening games of R6S Majors tend to be a bit more volatile, and it doesn't help that CYCLOPS and Black Dragon e-Sports haven't met before. No result would surprise me, so I have to take the underdogs.

Team BDS vs Spacestation Gaming
Six Jönköping Major 2022
Team BDS and Spacestation Gaming will begin their quest for the Six Jönköping Major 2022 trophy in Group C, which many consider the group of death. Joined by w7m esports and FURY, BDS, Spacestation, and w7m all have a realistic chance to reach the playoffs (FURY not so much), and with only two spots available, every fixture between the three will be extremely important.
Spacestation Gaming are a team not many believe in, but they've significantly improved in the latter stages of their domestic league. I would even say Spacestation looked like an entirely different team towards the end of the NAL.
Something is clearly clicking in the team, which is highly inspiring as Spacestation heads to Sweden, where they'll look to keep the momentum going. Team BDS have also had some success this season and is one of the most experienced rosters at the tournament.
The LAN experience alone is enough to view BDS as the stronger team, and perhaps they are, but at the offered betting odds, I would much rather be on the side of Spacestation Gaming. This should be a very close match that can swing either way, so I have to take SSG at 2.37.

Wolves Esports vs FaZe Clan
Six Jönköping Major 2022
Wolves Esports and FaZe Clan are clear favourites to qualify from Group D, as it seems highly unlikely for either of them to lose against Mirage or Dire Wolves. This makes this match that much more important since it will likely decide which of the two sides will make it out as the first seed.
These two squads have never played each other, so it's tough to say how this game will go. FaZe are the more accomplished team, with a bronze medal from Six Invitational 2022 and a runner-up finish from Six Berlin Major 2022 in August. Still, the Wolves are not to be underestimated, having shown incredible form this season.
Since joining Wolves, the French squad won European League 2022 - Stage 2, placed top eight at Six Berlin Major, and won the 6 French League Season 4 and the European League 2022 - Stage 3, thus finishing the year as the top European team with a 17/1/3/6 record.
Undoubtedly, the Wolves are a threat and possibly one of the top teams in the tournament. Much of the same can be said about Faze, but from what I've seen from the two teams, I prefer Wolves Esports. They have a history of choking in bigger events, but they're in great form and should take down FaZe.
