This weekend the six games have been split evenly over both Saturday and Sunday, giving up a three game slate for Super Saturday on Round 4 of the 2025 AFL Premiership Season. We get underway with what is surprisingly the match of the round with the undefeated Gold Coast hosting the undefeated Adelaide Crows at People First Stadium. Then we move to the MCG where game stackers will be in heaven as the reigning premiers, Brisbane take on the preseaon wooden spoon favourites in Richmond. Finally as a night cap we get upstart North Melbourne hosting Sydney at the MCG in what is a potentially attractive hammer game.
As always for us daily fatnasy is the key attraction of the day and Draftstars have us covered with a suite of contests including a massive $60,000 main across this three game game slate. In addition, there are a variety of alternate contests:
AFL $60,000+ Saturday

The AFL Star contest is back again for 2025 and Draftstars are once again offering the biggest prize pool in Australian DFS history with a $1 million guaranteed final with $250,000 top prize! There are qualifiers and satellites running for every AFL match.

Gold Coast - 28 degrees and partly cloudy
Melbourne - 18 degrees and partly cloudy
No real risk of rain across the games this Saturday. Let’s pick our fantasy teams and get going!
Where to Attack?
Richmond stand out on this slate as the team to target. Through the small sample size of this season they are giving up above average points to forwards, midfielders and backs of all positions, and this is no real shock given they are 46 point underdogs against Brisbane this week. You can really stack up at any position but I will be leaning towards midfielders and forwards.
The rest of the slate offers little in the way of obvious avenues to target with Sydney and Adelaide being two of the harder teams to score against through the early stages of this season.
Game Script – Brisbane midfielders and forwards
VALUE PLAYS
Sid Draper ($7,080) is expected to move into the starting role on the ground this week after three solid showings as the sub. With Matt Crouch out he should see plenty of midfield opportunity after attending over 40% of their centre bounces in the first two rounds despite not playing a full game. Draper has looked right at home at AFL level football and returned scores of 37, 38, and 46 as the sub through three games.
Levi Ashcroft ($9,480) is priced under $10k and has shown ability to score despite not playing inside midfield during his early games. In the first two matches he returned 84 fantasy points and 74 fantasy points before a down week last week in what was a tough contest. This week should be a big win the Lions and we can expect Ashcroft to get plenty of opportunity for disposals and scoring involvements in the front half for Brisbane. An alternate option in a similar price range would be to go with a player in the opposition with Kamdyn McIntosh ($9,420) off to a solid fantasy start for the Tigers. He has been used on the inside attending an average of 40% of the Tigers centre bounces and returned an average of 86 fantasy points per game.
MID PRICED PLAYS
Cam Rayner ($10,320)… there are plenty of forward options to choose from for the Lions and the best bet is to stack up various combinations if you are a multi team player. Rayner will get opportunity as both an inside midfielder and a forward, which makes him an attractive option in this matchup.
PREMIUM PLAYS
Hugh McCluggage ($15,960) had his best result for the season last week with a massive 121 point fantasy game. He has a solidified role on the inside this season attending over 60% of the Lions centre bounces and he is unlikely to get the defensive attention that Neale picks up each week. I love that he gets amongst linkage plays on the outside as well as playing around the stoppages.
Jake Soligo ($13,910) has been my go-to every week so far and he has not disappointed. Averaging 113 fantasy points on the season, I continue to go back to him anytime his price is under $14k. He is attending 56% of the Crows centre bounces this year and with Matt Crouch out, he should see an uptick in that number in this critical matchup against the Gold Coast.
