LOL European Masters Quarter Finals Betting Tips
Movistar Riders v Fnatic Rising
Thursday 2am (AEST)
On the face of it, there isn’t much that separates Fnatic Rising from Movistar Riders. They are both solid teams, having come through the group stage with identical 4-2 records. However, confidence and momentum are two extremely influential factors in sport.
It’s not that Movistar Riders are bereft of either of those characteristics but Fnatic Rising just have that much more in the tank. Fnatic Rising even beat Mousesports, arguably the best team in this competition, during one of their group meetings. In 27 games across this EU Masters tournament as well as the UKLC Spring season earlier this year, Fnatic Rising have won a total of 19 of 27 games, which should bode well for their fluency.
From a personnel perspective, they’ve been held in good stead by their mid laner-ADC combination of MagiFelix and xMatty. In six games during this competition, both players have contributed with a combined 8.66 kills per game. Their kill participation rates are well over 10 each as well. They have been given able support from Bravado and Dan, who are both averaging over 10 assists per game too. Bravado even has the best KDA in this team with 6.71.
Gamersorigin v K1ck Neosurf
Thursday 5am (AEST)
Gamersorigin led a competitive Group A with a 4-2 record, dropping maps to YDN Gamers and BT Excel. Sure, Gamersorigin are probably the better team on paper but K1ck Neosurf are not far behind them at all. They also finished the group stage with a 4-2 record, which included wins against quality opponents in Schalke04 Evolution and Movistar Riders.
K1ck Neosurf were made to qualify for the main event through the play-in prior to the start of group play. They’ve come through to the quarter-finals almost unscathed, a testament to the depth in their roster. With most factors cancelling each other out between these two teams, the greater odds of $2.50 for K1ck Neosurf seem too attractive to ignore.
Puki Style has been K1ck Neosurf’s most potent offensive weapon, aggregating an average of 5.87 kills per game, fourth best in the entire EU Masters. He even has a solid KDA of 5.47 with a creep score per minute of 8.86. Matislaw and jungler Shlatan have contributed well too with steady contributions and individual KDAs of over 5 during this competition.
