NFL Week 15 Monday Betting Tips
Pittsburgh Steelers at Philadelphia Eagles

There are a few blockbuster matchups in the mid-morning slate, kicking off with the Eagles hosting the Steelers from 8.25am. The Eagles have been on a tear of late, winning their last nine straight games and covering the spread in four of their last five. They looked a little shaky against the Panthers last week though, almost giving up the win late in the game, eventually getting over the line by six points at home.
The Steelers lead the AFC North division with a 10-3 record and have won seven of their last eight games. They were 13-point winners over the Browns in Week 14, covering the spread to move to a league best 10-3 against the spread on the season. They have the 5th ranked defence in the league, allowing just 18.3 points per game.
I think this line has opened a tough high at 5.5 and I’m keen to back the Steelers with that head start. They have lost just three games this season and those three losses have come by an average margin of just 3.6 points. Philly were nowhere near their best last week against the Panthers and I think Pittsburgh could capitalise on that.

Buffalo Bills at Detroit Lions

Easily the game of the week sees the top two ranked offences in the league squaring off in the Lions and Bills. The Lions have won 11 straight games since their Week 2 loss against the Buccs, covering the spread in eight of those games as they have regularly put up 40+ points and recorded double digit wins. They were too good for the Packers in Week 13, winning by three points in a high scoring game.
The Bills snapped a seven-game winning streak in Week 14, going down to the Rams by two points in a high scoring game which produced 86 points. With the AFC East already wrapped up, the Bills can make a real play at the top seed in the AFC given they have very winnable games against the Patriots-Jets-Patriots following this game.
Hard not to bet the overs here despite the fact that this is the highest total we have seen all year, currently sitting at 54.5 points. The two teams combine for an average of 62.6 points per game this season and Bills games in particular have gone 8-5 in favour of the over this season.

Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings

Certainly not the most glamorous of matchups in the marquee timeslot here but there will be plenty on the line for the Vikings, who currently sit one game behind the Lions in the NFC North at 11-2, having won their last six games on the spin. They have a top 10 ranked offence and defence in the league this season, and are 8-4-1 against the spread.
The Bears have had a season to forget in 2024 so far. They are 4-9 on the season and are yet to win a game in the division, sitting 0-3 in that regard. They have, however, been decent against the spread this season at 7-5-1.
The Vikings start as seven-point favourites at home and I’m leaning towards them here. Although the Bears have been good against the spread, its hard to deny the Vikings form at the moment. They have won their last six games by an average of 8.0 points and defeated the Bears in a high scoring game just a few weeks ago.
