OKC Thunder at Orlando Magic
Kia Center, 11:40am AEDT
The Thunder managed to snap a mini two-game losing streak last start when they took down the Kings at home by 14 points. The Thunder have been starting to show some vulnerability of late and the All-Star break seems as though it’s coming at the right time for their young group. Meanwhile, another young team in the Magic have rediscovered some of their better form over the last couple of weeks. They were lost in the wilderness for a while there but will enter Wednesday’s slate having won five of their past six games including three in a row on their home deck. The Magic are back healthy and that’s been key to their success this season, and it should hold them in good stead in this matchup with the Thunder who have lost each of there last three road games. At home and back in form, the Magic are certainly over the odds in my opinion.

Sacramento Kings at Phoenix Suns
Footprint Center, 2pm AEDT
The Kings have enjoyed a fruitful first half of the season but haven’t been in great form over the past fortnight. They enter Wednesday’s slate having lost three of their last four games, with one of those losses coming at home against the team with the worst record in the league in the Pistons. On top of that, the Kings have lost their last two road games by a combined 40 points, so it’s fair to say they won’t be exactly oozing with confidence when they travel to Phoenix to take on the Suns. In contrast, the Suns have been playing well over the last month or so, with their big 3 finally getting some good reps in together. They lost a one-point heartbreaker against the Warriors last time out, but have still saluted in five of their last seven games. The Suns have won each of their last five games at the Footprint Center and one of those came against the Kings. I expect them to repeat the dose on Wednesday and cover the small spread.

Detroit Pistons at Los Angeles Lakers
Crpyto.com Arena, 2:40pm AEDT
The Pistons enjoyed some rare success last week when they managed to win back-to-back games for just the second time this season. Impressively, both of those wins came on the road and they were fairly close to making it three in a row when narrowly falling to the Clippers last outing. The rebuilding Pistons made a couple of moves at the Trade Deadline and have seemingly found a couple of rotations that have been working well. Elsewhere, the Lakers have been ticking over the win column regularly of late with four wins from their past five games. Their only loss during that five-game span came against the Nuggets who they just can’t seem to figure out. Regardless, the Lakers will be confident they can get the better of the Pistons here, although the task might get a bit more difficult with Anthony Davis and LeBron James both listed as doubtful. If one or neither of them play, the Pistons could make this game very interesting on current form.
