Australian reality TV show “The Voice” is now approaching the business end of proceedings with live performances in full swing and eliminations slowly reducing the field. At the moment, just ten contestants remain in contention, with a clear favourite emerging with Judah Kelly firming into the odds-on favourite with Australian sportsbook Sportsbet.
After turning all four chairs in his blind auditions, Kelly has continued to produce strong performances with his version of Tina Arena’s “Chains” wowing audiences and earning a standing ovation earlier this week.
Kelly has attracted more money than the next two best back contestants combined!
As part of Team Delta, Australian starlet Delta Goodrem is also the $1.75 favourite to be this season’s winning coach.
“There’s a long way to go but Judah is really pulling away from the other nine contestants and at this rate he could be at Black Caviar odds by the finale,’’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Will Byrne.
At the other end of the market, Spencer Jones is the $1.50 favourite to be eliminated from The Voice on Sunday with Tim Conlan next in line at $2.10. Two contestants will be given their marching orders in the double elimination episode with Claire Howell ($3.00) and Sarah Stone ($5.00) also under pressure.
“Spencer is the least supported singer in the overall winner market so we’re thinking it’s most likely his turn to be voted off in Sunday’s episode,” said sportsbet.com.au’s Christian Jantzen.
