NFL Week 5 Monday Betting Tips
Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals
4am (AEDT)
After losing their first two games of the season, the Ravens have bounced back to win their last two over the Cowboys and Bills to get their season back on track. The Week 4 clash against the Bills was particularly impressive, as they put up 35 points on the back of a monster game from star running back Derrick Henry, who had 209 all purpose yards and two touchdowns.
The Bengals also got their season back on track in Week 4, snapping a three-game losing streak with a solid albeit not super convincing win over the Carolina Panthers. Defence has been an issue for the Bengals through four weeks, currently ranking 28th in total defence, allowing 26.0 points per game.
This Ravens offence clicked into gear in Week 4 as they demolished the Bills and I’m struggling to see how this line has opened at just 2.5 point given the two teams form at the moment. The Ravens have had to run the gauntlet in their first four weeks with games against the Chiefs, Raiders, Cowboys and Bills and are still maintaining a top five offence in the league. I think they roll on here and cover this spread easily.

Buffalo Bills at Houston Texans
4am (AEDT)
The Texans have started the season 3-1 and sit atop what is largely a struggling AFC South division. They were four-point winners at home against the Jaguars in Week 4 on the back of a strong game from quarterback C.J. Stroud, who put up 345 passing yards on 27/40 attempts including two touchdowns.
The Bills will be looking to bounce back from a dismal defeat at the hands of the Ravens last week. Their offence uncharacteristically put up just 10 points in the loss as their run game, in particular, struggled to get going. They average just 305 total yards on offence this season, good for 20th in the league.
Given the Bills issues on offence over the few weeks, I think this total is a touch high at 47.5 at the moment. The undes are 5-3 in the eight games where either of these two teams have been involved this season. Back it again here.

Dallas Cowboys at Pittsburgh Steelers
11.20am (AEDT)
‘Sunday Night Football’ sees a great matchup take centre stage as the Steelers host the Cowboys from 11.20am. The Cowboys snapped a two game losing streak with a solid but unconvincing win over the Giants on the road in Week 4. They put up just 20 points in the win, failing to cover the spread for the third straight week and they’ll start as 1.5 point underdogs on the road in Week 5.
As they seem to do year after year, the Steelers have defied pre-season predictions to start 3-1, but they are coming off their first loss of the season, going down by three points on the road to the Colts. Despite allowing 27 points in the loss, their defence is still the No.2 ranked in the league, allowing just 13.3 points per game.
Tough one to call here so I’m staying away from the moneyline/spread and opting for the unders instead. This Cowboys offence has struggled to put up points since Week 1 and will face a massive test against one of the best defences in the league here. Much like the above game, the unders are 5-3 in the eight games involving either of these teams.
