This match looks a tale of two teams at different stages of their season. The Demons are flying high and remain the only unbeaten side in the competition while the Kangaroos remain the only team without a win.

Match Prediction
The Demons look the real deal early doors this season and they will look to make it 7 from 7 to go outright top of the ladder today. It looks as close to a certain win as we will see this season with the Kangaroos playing abysmal footy and struggling to match it with any team they have come up against so far this year.
North Melbourne have been blown out in every game they have played this season and probably face their toughest match to date here. They’re conceding a mammoth amount of points with a struggling backline and unfortunately their forward line isn’t producing much either. The Demons have one of the elite midfields of the competition and it’s hard to see the Kangaroos matching up well anywhere on the park.
To make matters worse for the Kangaroos, they have only 27 fit players to choose from as their season goes from bad to worse with terrible injury luck. They will be without four of their top six best and fairest from last season and it looks an uphill battle for an inexperienced side to compete against the Demons at the moment. Interestingly, today will also mark Ben Brown’s debut for the Demons as he comes up against his old club for the first time.
The bookies have it marked as almost a fore gone conclusions and it’s hard to disagree with them. I think the Demons will win this easily and it could even turn into one of the biggest margins of the season.

Kangaroos Prop
In a depleted team, Jack Ziebell has obviously had to shoulder much of the midfield work for the Kangaroos. Ziebell has been racking up touches for fun lately, and while his team is still struggling, he looks like the one who can make an impact on the game. Has had 38 and 37 disposals respectively across his last two games and I think he will be due for another big one today.
Demons Prop
It is a pretty big storyline heading into the match and I think Ben Brown can start his career with Melbourne off with a flyer. He faces his old club for the first time, where he led the forward line for many years. I expect he will want to put in a big performance to show his new teammates what he can do as well as having plenty of history with the men he will be going up against today. Should see plenty of footy in a one-sided match and am expecting him to kick a bag today.
