Action at the Eastbourne International continues on Wednesday night (AEST) with some quality matchups on both the men’s and women’s draw. Tennis expert ‘Ace’ has done the form and likes the odds on offer for a couple of home underdogs to get the chocolates. Check out who he’s backing below and good luck if following!

Tennis Betting Tips – Wednesday, June 28th 2023

ATP Eastbourne

Liam Broady vs Mikael Ymer

This presents as a great opportunity for Liam Broady, with a lot of ATP points on offer here in the week before Wimbledon. Broady sits at 147 in the current rankings, with a big opportunity here at home, as well as next week at Wimbledon as a wildcard.

The Brit has shown over the years that he is capable on the grass, and this match-up of Mikael Ymer isn't the worst, given he won't find himself in a struggle for power of the ability to dictate. Broady was solid for the most part in round 1 against Choinski, backing up his solid performance against Adrian Mannarino last week.

Ymer has shown flashes on the grass over the years, with a 10-10 career record on the surface, however he lacks the depth of form to justify his short odds in this one.

I will be making a small play here on Broady at home.

Broady to defeat Ymer

$2.43 (0.5 Units)

WTA Eastbourne

Jelena Ostapenko vs Harriet Dart

Short and sharp here, however Ostapenko didn't look to be at the same level in round 1 compared to the tennis we saw last week in Nottingham. It was billed as a major round 1 clash for Ostapenko, as she was due to face Berlin champ Petra Kvitova in the first round, before the Czech pulled out. Ostapenko instead faced Barbora Strycova, winning 6-4 6-3, but I felt on viewing that the scoreboard flattered the Latvian a touch.

It's a step up in opposition today with Harriet Dart, with the Brit looking solid across the entirety of the grass season to date, and she should enjoy the pace on the ball from the other side of the net.

I have Dart a touch under $3 here, so there is value in the current moneyline in the week leading up to a grand slam.

Dart to defeat Ostapenko

$3.75 (0.75 Units)
