Sacramento Kings at Cleveland Cavaliers
Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, 11am AEDT
A couple of the Association’s form teams will come together in the first game on Tuesday, with the Kings heading to Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers. The Kings have secured six wins from their past seven games, five of which have come on the road. Most recently, they took care of the Bulls by eight points in Chicago on the back of a huge 41-point performance from De’Aaron Fox. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers were far too good for the rebuilding Spurs in their most recent outings. They’re absolutely flying right now and have picked up wins in five straight and 13 of their past 14 games. The Cavs have won their past eight games at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse and have surged into third spot in the East standings. On current form and with the home support on their side once again, the Cavs look to be a solid play to cover the small spread on Tuesday.

Los Angeles Clippers at Atlanta Hawks
State Farm Arena, 11:30am AEDT
The Clippers are winning games for fun right now and will likely head into the All-Star break next weekend as the form team in the league. They’ll be playing their seventh game of their current road trip on Tuesday and have dropped only one game so far (5-1), which was against another team that’s absolutely flying in the Cavaliers. The Clippers have now won 25 of their last 30 games which is by far the best record of any team over such a span this season. As a result, they’re now third in the West standings and only one game behind the Thunder in first. Elsewhere, the Hawks have been trying to build some form and momentum of their own in recent weeks and enter Tuesday on a four-game win streak. Their most recent win came in overtime against the Warriors on Sunday, with Trae Young dropping 35 points. Regardless, the Hawks now come up against the form team of the league and will need to be at their absolute best to hang in this one. With that said, taking the Clippers to cover the small spread looks to be the move here.
Los Angeles Clippers -2.5

Golden State Warriors at Brooklyn Nets
Barclays Center, 11:30am AEDT
The Warriors were shooting for three straight wins when they travelled to Atlanta on Sunday but instead came away with a heartbreaking loss in overtime. The defeat came despite superstar Steph Curry dropping 60 points which was only two points shy of his career-high. The Warriors have now lost two of their past four games in overtime, and 11 of their past 17 overall. In contrast, the Nets came up with a big road win in their most recent outing against the 76ers, taking them down 136-121. That made it three wins from their past four games in what’s their best stretch since early December. The Nets have had a kind schedule of late and will be playing just their second game in six days when they take to the floor on Tuesday, which means they should be well rested. All signs lead towards a Nets win and I’m happy to have a decent crack at that occurring.
