12 games to look forwrad to in the NFL this Monday, headlined by a great clash between the Vikings and Broncos in the prime-time slot. Check out our preview and betting tips for the key games of the day below.
NFL Week 11 Monday Betting Tips
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns
Monday 5am (AEDT)
Fantastic divisional matchup here as the Browns host the Steelers from 5am. The Steelers are 6-3 straight up on the season as well as against the spread so far. They are coming off a solid 23-19 win over the Packers at home on the weekend but will now embark on a tough two game road trip that sees them face the Bengals in Cincinnati next week.
The Browns are also 6-3 on the season but unbelivably and pulled one game closer to the divisional leading Ravens with a fantastic 33-31 win in Baltimore in Week 10. Unfortuantely for the Browns, starting QB Deshaun Watson siffered a season ending shoulder injury in the win.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson will start the game for the Browns, playing his first significant time since putting up just three points in a loss tot he Ravens last month. Can't see this Browns offence being too competitive with him back at the helm, back the Steelers to get the job done on the road here.
Betting Stats
- The Steelers have covered the spread in their last five games as a road underdog
- Unders have been the play in Steelers road games in recent history. Over their last 10 seasons, the unders are 51-24-1
Seattle Seahawks at LA Rams
Monday 8.25am (AEDT)
Another good divisional matchup here in the afternoon slate as the Rams host the Seahawks. The NFC West is a two horse race at the moment, with the Seahawks fighting the 49ers for top spot, both maintaining a 6-3 record at the moment. The Rams can re-enter the conversation with a win here though, as they currently have a 3-6 record on the back of a 20-3 loss to the Packers in their last game.
The Seahawks have won three of their last four games but have covered the spread in just one of those games. They are coming off a unconvincing three point win over the Commanders at home in their last game, and will be desperate for a win here as their following schedule is absolutely brutal. Their next four games sees them play the 49ers twice as well as games agians the Cowboys and Eagles.
Love the overs here. These two teams both sit in the bottom half of the league when it comes to points allowed per game and they have both been involved in some shootouts of late. 46.5 seems a little low here.
Betting Stats
- The Seahawks are a dismal 1-9 against the spread in their last 10 games that have come after October in an NFL season.
- The Rams are 0-3 against the spread in their last three games, but have covered the spread in their last six against the Seahawks
Minnesota Vikings at Denver Broncos
Monday 12.20pm (AEDT)
Sunday Night Football sees a interesting matchup between the Vikings and Broncos from Denver. The Broncos are just 4-5 on the season but have won their last three games in a row, going 3-0 against the spread to completely turn their season around. They had a fantastic upset win over the Bills in their last game and are now right in the mix in the AFC Wildcard race.
After a really slow start to the season which saw them lose four of their first five games of the season, the Vikings have had a similar change of fortunes as the Broncos, winning their last five games in a row to sit in 2nd place in the NFC North, just one game behind the Lions.
Really tough game to call either way here with the Broncos starting as 3 point favourites. I'm opting for the unders instead here. This line seems a little high at 40.5, three of the last four Broncos games have gone under this total and primetime games this season have been going under at an alarming rate.
Betting Stats
- The Vikings have covered the spread in their last five games, the longest active streak in the NFL.
- Since Russel Wilson has been at the helm in Denver, the Broncos are 0-7 against the spread when laying more than a point at home.
