NFL Week 10 Monday Betting Tips
LA Chargers at San Francisco 49ers
12.20pm (AEDT)
San Francisco is 4-4 on the season but their offence has looked completely revamped since trading for Christian McCaffrey a few weeks ago. In the two games with the star running back in the side, the 49ers have put up 23 against the Chiefs and 31 against the Rams. They are two games behind the division leading Seattle Seahawks and will be looking to close the gap on Monday afternoon.
The Chargers have been inconsistent this season but have still managed to fight their way to a 5-3 record through their opening eight games. They are coming off a three point win over the Falcons on the road last week in which star quarterback Justin Herbert threw for 245 yards on 30/43 passing.
I like the overs here. The 49ers offence has been much more dynamic since the addition of McCaffrey and the Chargers seem to be finding a groove over the last few weeks with Justin Herbert looking healthier each week. 44.0 seems a little low for this total.
Other Tips
Seattle Seahawks at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Buccs and Seahawks will head to Germany for the early game of the morning. It’s been a horror run for the Buccs this season but amazingly they still sit atop the NFC South with a 4-5 record. They have to click soon but I don’t fancy this aging roster on the back of a long flight to Germany. In fact, I think both teams will struggle mightily to move the ball here.
Under 44.5 ($1.90 at Bet365)
Cleveland Browns at Miami Dolphins
Like the Dolphins at home here. They offence is back to being one of the best in the league with Tua back from injury. They are 6-3 on the season and have put up 30+ points in their last two games.
Dolphins -3.5 ($1.90 at Bet365)
Denver Broncos at Tennessee Titans
This one has to go under. The Broncos offence has been just terrible this season, scoring the fewest points in the league. On the other side of the ball, the Titans defence was looking really solid last week, holding the Chiefs to just 20 points. This has the feeling of a 13-10 game.
Under 37.5 ($1.90 at Bet365)
Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears
On the contrary to a couple of the above tips, I really like the look of the overs here. The Lions have allowed more points than any team in the competition this season and the Bears have found new life on offence behind a dynamic Justin Fields over the last few weeks.
Over 48.5 ($1.90 at Bet365)
Houston Texans at New York Giants
This is a bit of an ugly game that I don’t really like either way. I think there was some fools gold aspect to the Giants earlier in the season and that has caught back up to them slightly. They probably win here, but I’m not interested in taking them at the 4.5 point line.
No Bet
Jacksonville Jaguars at Kansas City Chiefs
This line opened at over 10 but has moved slightly in favour of the Jags to a point where I’m comfortable taking the Chiefs. Back at home, I think they win this one comfortably after a tough game against the Titans last week.
Chiefs -9.5 ($1.90 at Bet365)
Minnesota Vikings at Buffalo Bills
This game was looking like the matchup of the week but that has been thrown into some doubt with the chance that Josh Allen could be ruled out through injury. The line is currently at 3.5 but that could move as much as five points in either direction when Allen is confirmed to be playing or out. Stay away until we know more.
No Bet
New Orleans Saints at Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers were really competitive earlier in the season given their expectations, but they have since dropped away, losing their last two games by an average of 14 points. The Saints should be too good here on the road, back them at the small line.
Saints -1.5 ($1.90 at Bet365)
Indianapolis Colts at Las Vegas Raiders
These have been two of the more disappointing teams in the league this season, managing just five wins between them after there were some heavy expectations on both at the start of the year. I think this one goes over, the Raiders have allowed plenty of points this season so it could be a good chance for the Colts offence to find some form.
Over 41.5 ($1.90 at Bet365)
Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams
The Rams have been ordinary this season, with just a 3-5 record through their opening eight games. They have, however, dominated the Cardinals in recent history, covering the spread in their last three against them. Like them here.
Rams -1.5 ($1.90 at Bet365)
Dallas Cowboys at Green Bay Packers
Will the Packers make a stand or is their season officially done and dusted? They host the Cowboys from 8.25am in a massive matchup. The Cowboys offence arguably looked more dynamic without Ezekiel Elliot in the line-up in their 20 point win over the Bears two weeks ago. I think they will be too good for the Packers here.
Cowboys -4.5 ($1.90 at Bet365)
