Warwick Farm Racing Tips: Wednesday, March 6th 2024
Race 3: The Agency Real Estate BM72 1400m- 2:55pm (AEDT)
(3) Amati $4.00: 4YO mare who narrowly missed two back in the Inglis Sprint behind CEERSEVEN who has since gone to run a nice third in 86 grade on Saturday and beat home HELL HATH NO FURY that day who went on to win a G2 last weekend. Amati dropped back to this grade and flew home from last up the rail, but left it too late and wasn’t catching WINX’s little sister! I would prefer to see some sting in the ground for her, but she is deserving a win and maps nicely for that here today. Goes well.
(6) Terrestar $5.00: Stablemate of Amati who is back in grade after competing in open class last start. Much more suited back to mid-week racing and is worth thought. Peaks third up and proven over this trip.
Race 4: Ghaiyyath First Yearlings BM72 2110m - 3:30pm (AEDT)
(8) Fays Angels $7.00/2.25: 4YO mare who won very well last start in a highway at Randwick. Pushed out three wide on the corner and was strong to the line kicking clear to win by more than 2L. Rises up to 2110m now which looks like it’ll suit after that last outing. 3kg claim still engaged so she will only be carrying 54kg here. She maps nicely where I expect her to get a nice sit midfield with cover and allow for that same TOF in the final furlong. Impressive sectionals from 400-the post last race. Only fitter for this third up run now. Good each way chance.
(1) Etna Rosso $3.40: Early favourite, but has been drifting slightly which is concerning. International who has been racing in much tougher grade. Gets himself into easier grade now and J-Mac in the saddle. Will need to carry top weight, but must be respected in this grade now.
(8) Fays Angels E/W

Race 7: Yarraman Park BM72 1000m - 5:15pm (AEDT)
(8) Markwell Dreamer $46/$10: 6YO gelding who looks well over the odds here. Very good in both runs this prep. First up flew home with the fastest last 200m to finish 5th, but only a length and a bit off the winner. Extra 100m there and he wins. Last run was on the heavy 10 where he took the rails run with 61.5kg on his back and was nutted in the last few strides. Finished 3rd, but gapped 4th by several lengths. 10 days since that run, so hoping he has returned okay and not sluggish after that heavy 10 performance. In slightly easier class now and gets 4.5kg off his back from that run. Looks to be quite a bit of speed on paper in this race which sets it up for this fella who maps nicely in behind the leaders and will be hooning home.
(6) Confess Our Dreams $3.80: Undefeated 3YO filly who looks ready to go on with it. Smashed in the early market, but draws wide and I’m worried he might get caught out there with the early speed on paper. Demands respect though.
(8) Markwell Dreamer E/W
