Race 5
(9) Dynasties is a great e/w price in this race. She holds a strong 1st up record and is blessed with the services of James McDonald steering. She’s drawn neutrally and should get every possible chance off the back of quite a promising trial just over 2 weeks ago.
(3) Hope In Your Heart is a talent but needs to return well here to win. She’s a risk for that reason at such a short price especially considering she went around at nice e/w odds most of last preparation.
(4) Mirra Vision flies 1st up and has enough tactical speed to sit handy in this race. She’s the highest percentage play based on her race setup here but is just a little too short in a competitive race for my liking.

$11/$3 (0.5 Units)
Race 7
(1) In Secret should continue her supremacy against the 3yo’s now that she’s seemingly returned as well as she went out last preparation. She missed the kick 1st up but was still far too good winning without being asked for a top effort to the eye. She’s drawn well here and more or less meets a field she’s had the measure of already.
(3) Zougotcha creates some interest here as James McDonald has opted to ride this filly over In Secret (assuming he had the option to ride both). Zoutgotcha dominated her races last preparation but did contest weaker races than In Secret. Her trials have been good but she’ll need to be at her career best to beat this favourite I suspect.
(8) Sunshine In Paris was 2nd to In Secret 1st up and has proven she deserves to be in the conversation for the 3yo fillies here. She’s drawn well again for Ryan Maloney and with some improvement 2nd up should be able to feature in the finish.
(1) In Secret Win
$2.20 (2 Units)
Race 8
(10) Montefilia can surprise here 1st up. She trialled very well leading up to her return and should get a soft run in the 2-wide running line allowing her to peel into the race more easily than the short favourite Anamoe who may end up on the rail and be looking for room late.
(1) Anamoe should realistically be winning this race if he’s 100% and gets all the luck he needs. From barrier 3 though, there is a chance he lands behind horses on the rail and struggles to find room late. With the risk of bad luck a seemingly prevalent factor here, I’m hesitant to take the shorts for this horse, although he’s clearly the best in the race on ability.
(11) Fangirl was 3rd when resuming behind Anamoe. She’s drawn the perfect draw here to run well again and should only need a few gaps to open up at the right time to feature in the finish of this race.
(10) Montefilia Each-Way
$27/$4.80 (0.5 Units)
