Decent week for us in NFL betting tips last weekend as we hit on ____ out of four tips. The NFL regular season is now coming down to the business end with just four weeks to go and Week 14 has some great matchups, headlined by an NFC powerhouse clash between the Rams and Bears. We preview the key games of the weekend and give our betting tips below.
NFL Week 14 Betting Tips
Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans (Friday 12.20pm AEDT)
The Jags defence was dominant in Week 13 as they shut out the Colts and claimed a 6-0 win. There was a still a lot to be desired on the offensive side of the ball, however, as backup turned starting quarterback Cody Kessler threw for just 150 yards while the Jags managed just two field goals for the game.
The Titans trailed for the entire game in their Week 13 matchup against the Jets before a final drive touchdown by quarter back Marcus Mariota gave them a four-point win. Mariota threw for 282 yards and two touchdowns in the win but the Titans did look fairly average on defence, allowing 22 points in the first three quarters before switching on in the last.
The Titans start as 4.5-point favourites here at home, which we think is about spot on. Tough match to call either way but we think with the way these teams have been struggling on offence lately, it should be a low scoring slugfest. Back the unders here.

New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Monday 5am AEDT)
The New Orleans Saints suffered their first loss since Week 1 of the season on Thursday night, going down to the Dallas Cowboys 13-10 in what was an uncharacteristic game offensively for Drew Brees and the Saints. New Orleans now moves to 10-2 on the season but still hold a comfortable four game advantage in the NFC South over Carolina.
The Buccaneers were underdog winners at home against the Panthers in Week 13, coming away with an impressive 24-17 win as Jameis Winston racked up 249 yards and two touchdowns. Tampa Bay can insert themselves into the wildcard playoff picture with a win over the Saints on the weekend as they currently sit just one game behind the likes of Minnesota, Carolina and Washington who are all in the hunt.
Week 13 was the first time since a Week 7 clash against Baltimore that the Saints had failed to score 30+ points and just the third time all season. They have displayed the most dynamic offence in the league week in, week out and should bounce back here against the Buccaneers who allow more passing TD’s than any team in the league. Both teams thrive on offence so back the overs here.

Los Angeles Rams at Chicago Bears (Monday 12.20pm AEDT)
Since their Week 9 loss to the Saints away from home, the Rams have gone on to score 40 points per game over their next three, racking up wins against the Seahawks, Chiefs and Lions. They became the first team to clinch their division on the weekend as they moved to a league best 11-1 record and after a tough matchup against Chicago this weekend, should be able to cruise home in second gear.
Chicago sit atop the NFC North division with an 8-4 record and will be thankful that the Patriots were able to beat the Vikings on Sunday night as to maintain their lead in the division. The Bears defence was extremely disappointing against the Giants in Week 13 as they allowed 30 points and lost just their fourth game of the season.
It’s a matter of offence vs defence here as the Rams will look to continue their onslaught of the NFL with another 40+ point performance. The Bears had been solid on defence up until their game against the Giants, which leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. However, at home, against a relaxed Rams team that has just clinched their division, we expect them to bounce back. Keep an eye on this line as we expect it to rise through the week.
Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks (Tuesday 12.15pm AEDT)
With the Bears going down to the Giants on Sunday, Minnesota had a great chance to put some pressure on their NFC North rivals with an away win at Gillette Stadium. They just couldn’t muster enough offence on the road, however, as they went down to the Patriots 24-10. Their defence looked solid at times throughout the match but it was ultimately Kirk Cousins two interceptions late in the game that cost them the match.
The Seahawks train rolled on in Week 13 as they gave the San Francisco 49ers an absolute towling at home. The Seahawks racked up 43 points and completely dominated the 49ers along the ground and in the air. Russel Wislon was fantastic in the red zone, passing for four touchdowns on just 17 total attempts.
Another really tough game to call here between two solid sides on both ends of the ball. Minnesota will be on the road once again, where they have struggled against the spread with just a 2-3-1 record. On the contrary, the Seahawks are 3-1-1 ATS at home and 7-3-2 ATS overall. We like Seatle here.
