Our last E-Sports betting preview was a profitable one as we hit on two out of three bets with the winners coming at odds of $3.75 and $2 in the CS:GO ESL Cologne tournament! We are back this week with another CS:GO preview, this time for the massive $1,000,000 E-League Premier which gets underway this weekend from Atlanta, Georgia.
E-League CS:GO Premier 2018 Betting Tips
The tournament features seven of the top eight ranked teams in the world and the 11th ranked Cloud9, who are a serious threat in any tournament they enter. The massive $1,000,000 prize pool makes it one of the biggest tournaments of the year and we present our best tips for the tournament below!
Unlike a lot of the other tournaments on the CS:GO circuit that feature more teams, the Premier has just eight and therefore has best of three matches across the board, which means that there will likely be less early round upsets. With such a good field that features eight teams that could realistically catch fire and win the tournament, it’s hard to single out our contenders, but we’ll do our best below.
Natus Vincere
We tipped NaVi to reach the final at the recent ESL Cologne at great odds of $3.75 and they ended up going all the way and winning the tournament on the back of a dominant display by the best player in the world ‘S1mple’. He took out the MVP of the tournament as NaVi defeated BIG in the grand final to pick up the $125,000 first prize.
NaVi have now won the last three tournaments they have competed in including the StarSeries Season 5, the CS:GO Asia Championships and of course ESL Cologne. They are arguably the most in form team in the world at the moment and the play of s1mple has elevated the whole CS:GO community to new heights. They are third favourite to take out this tournament but in their current form I’d have them as my favourite to at least reach the final.

MiBR
Formerly SK Gaming, the MiBR roster is the wildcard in this tournament in my opinion. After a troubled few months following the replacement of TACO with Cloud9 player Stewie2K and a change in brand, MiBR will be looking to get back on top of the CS:GO world with a win here. Just a few days ago, MiBR acquired another Cloud9 player in Tarik, who should add valuable fragging ability and be an overall improvement on replaced player ‘boltz’.
Tarik has a storied history with organisations, which usually sees immediate success upon his arrival followed by a complete breakdown. It will be a learning period for MiBR for sure, but the fact of the matter is that they have assembled five of the most purely talented players in the world and we are picking the same trend to happen with the newly formed MiBR here.
