Call of Duty Pro League Week 2 Betting Tips
Red Reserve vs Evil Geniuses (Wednesday 7am AEST)
Red Reserve are currently unbeaten in Group A of the CWL Pro League, racking up three wins from their three games last weekend and dropping just three combined maps along the way. EG had a tough start to the season, facing off against Echo Fox, Splyce and Envy to come away with just one win.
The Europeans in Red Reserve will feel quite comfortable with their position at the moment so could be a chance to take their foot off the pedal here, and it seems that in their last game of Week 1 against Envy, EG really came together to earn a good win. The new quartet of Aches, Apathy, Assault and Silly is an extremely talented group and I think they have what it takes to cause an upset here and earn their second win of the group stage.
Evil Geniuses to win
$2.35
Faze Clan vs Splyce (Thursday 8.30am AEST)
Faze Clan were one of the only teams to stay resolute in the recent transfer period and refuse to make a move. They might be wishing they had have after their start to the CWL Pro League last weekend, losing all three of their games and picking up just three total maps along the way. Since Gunless and Enable left back in 2017, Faze have really struggled to find continuity with their two new players in Replays and Priestahh, which makes the odds for this game a bit puzzling to me.
Faze come up against Splyce, who only captured one win from four games in Week 1 of the Pro League but faced arguably the four toughest teams in the group. They were fantastic in their win over EG and were competitive in two of their other three matches. They’ll be keen to get their season back on track this week with some easier matchups against Faze and Epsilon and should win here.
