This Sunday slate offers our traditional fun three game slate to close out Round 4 of the 2025 AFL Premiership season. Things kick off later with a great game stack option as the GWS Giants will host the struggling West Coast Eagles at ENGIE Stadium. We then head to the Adelaide Oval for an interesting clash between two teams with finals aspirations in Port Adelaide and St Kilda, before heading out west as usual for the hammer game between Frematnle and the Western Bulldogs at Optus Stadium.
As always for us daily fatnasy is the key attraction of the day and Draftstars have us covered with a suite of contests including a massive $60,000 main across the two game game slate. In addition, there are a variety of alternate contests:

Where to Attack?
It's going to be no surprise here that West Coast are the team to target on this slate. As noted in the betting markets above the Giants are over 10 goal favourites, which right away points to loading up their forward line as they are expected to kick a big total. But beyond that the Eagles have been giving up the most points in the league to key forwards this year at over 12 points above league average. Things in this area a likely to get even worse with Jeremy McGovern now out with injury.
They are also conceding the most points in the league to inside midfielders at over 7 points per game above league average and furthermore the Eagles continue to be obliterated in the ruck.
If you are looking for backs to play, we can continue with the trend of loading up back lines against the Saints. This will be the third straight year that this play has been a lock and load strategy and to start this season St Kilda have been giving up the second most points in the league to the designated kicker, fourth most to general defenders and second most to outside wings and half backs.
Game Script – GWS forwards and midfielders – full stacks / Port Adelaide backs
VALUE PLAYS
Connor Stone ($6,000) is playing off the backline for GWS and priced very nicely at the minimum on this slate. As noted above the Giants have one of the best matchups in the league and while that leans more to forwards, I still expect a large number of uncontested possessions across the field for the team. Stone returned a solid 68 point score and has averaged 52 points per game across the season.
Christian Moraes ($8,960) has been a revelation in his debut games capped off with a monster 93 point game last week. He will be playing on the outside, namely the wing in this matchup, which is an elite spot to be in against the Saints who give up large scores to outside players across the back line.
MID PRICED PLAYS
Miles Bergman ($11,460) has started the season blazing from a fantasy perspective now that he has been freed of playing a pure lockdown role. His last two games have been 104 points and 86 points and this week he draws one of the best matchups for backs in the league against the Saints. Looking to stack up Port Adelaide backs is a great strategy on this slate, particularly with their designated kickers in Josh Sinn ($9,400) for value, or Kane Farrell ($13,490) as a premium option.
PREMIUM PLAYS
Tom Green ($15,910) has now had two games this season to blow the cobwebs out. This week he's coming into a matchup that has been the best for inside midfielders for over a year or more now. He will absolutely dominate the Eagles around the stoppages and I expect to see a ceiling range score in this matchup of 120+ (last year he scored 120 fantasy points in their one matchup against the Eagles).
Jesse Hogan ($13,110) is another player who will draw the best matchup in the league for his role on this slate. The Eagles have been giving up over 12 points above league average to key forwards as noted above and this is almost double the second best matchup. This week the Eagles are looking even smaller than normal across their back line with Jeremy McGovern out, and the Giants are over 10 goal favourites. Lock and load Hogan in and the only question is the fantasy score 100 or 150.
