A quality seven-race card returns to the Randwick-Kensington track for this midweek event in New South Wales. The first race is scheduled to jump at 1:25pm (AEST), while the last is set for a start time of 4:55pm (AEST). Shannon Buckley has done the form for Randwick and provides his best racing tips below!

Race 5: James Squire Maiden 1550m at 1:45pm (AEST)
(5) PRINCESS RAYAA ($6/$2.25) – 4YO Mare who hasn’t been far away this prep. Only just missing out on the previous two starts. Last start she flew late to almost score. An extra 50m like she gets today and she would’ve won. Freshened and should be ready for another bold run at an each way price. Will need to overcome wide draw, but this should still allow her to hopefully slot in midfield or just off pace with cover and can pounce late.
(1) KAPAKIRI ($4.80) –Early favourite who is getting closer each time. Appears he likes a bit of give in the ground, so watch and monitor for any rain and he may be worth some more thought. Rises in trip now and looks ready to tackle the distance again, but will have to do so with top weight, but James MCDONALD in the saddle is no disadvantage here. Goes well.
(5) PRINCESS RAYAA – E/W

Race 6: Kia Ora Prague BM72 1150m at 2:20pm (AEST)
(15) SO AUDACIOUS ($7.50/$2.60) – 4YO mare who won on debut back in January and that’s all we saw from her. She has had some nice trials against some serious horses where she has performed nicely, one of note was only half a length behind Eduardo. Keen to see her go around again and think she is a chance at nice odds.
(8) SISTER MOON ($16/$4.80) – 5YO mare who began her career in style with 4 wins from 4 starts. Returned two weeks ago and provided a nice run from the rear, but was not up on the speed where you needed to be which unfortunately ended the streak. Far from disgraced from that run though. Draws a nice gate here and looks over the odds with the start she had to her career. Roughie chance?
(15) SO AUDACIOUS – E/W

Race 7: Best of Bordeaux @ Coolmore BM72 1000M at 4:55pm (AEST)
(10) MILLYBELLA ($9.50/$2.80) – 4YO mare who we tipped at an Each Way price last outing and she flew late to fill the minors. Gets the exacta same trip and class today, but drops half a kilo off that run. Happy to stick on board and have another crack at each way odds. Freshened and should only improve.
(8) SOVERIEGN FUND ($3.40) – 3YO who is dropping back in class here and comes here off an excellent trial. Draws a nice gate and secures J-Mac in the saddle. On pacer who looks every chance to go close here.
