Two Heavyweights will bang it out in this week’s main event out of the UFC Apex Center in Las Vegas, Nevada when Derrick Lewis and Sergey Spivak meet head on. In the co-main Jung Da Un faces Devin Clark and Marcin Tybura takes on Blagoy Ivanov in what is likely to evolve into a war of attrition.
We take a look at Ben Talintyre's three best UFC betting tips on the card below, with two undercard multis.
UFC Fight Night Betting Tips
Derrick Lewis vs. Sergey Spivak
Derrick Lewis is a fan favourite who finds himself 1-3 in his last four and in the precarious position of dropping out of being recognised as a contender. While it is safe to say that he is not as durable as he once was, ‘The Black Beast’ still packs a hell of a punch and finds a favourable match up here against the lumbering Sergey Spivak. While Spivak is 6-3 in the Octagon, the calibre of fighters have not been high. Apart from Englishman, Tom Aspinall, who he was completely manhandled by, he hasn’t faced anyone who would be considered a top UFC Heavyweight.
Many will point to Spivak’s wrestling as his path to victory but it isn’t at a high level enough to neutralise Lewis and considering he was knocked out by strikers Tom Aspinall and Walt Harris, Spivak is there to be put away. In fights where Lewis doesn’t have to be overly concerned on the feet, I am always going to back him in. Back the Black Beast to roar once more.

Undercard Multi 1 - Tatsuro Taira + Jun Yong Park
Tastsuro Taira is the biggest favourite on the card for a reason. He is 2-0 in the UFC after a dominant reign in Shooto. He is better than his opponent Jesus Aguilar everywhere. Taira will outstrike him on the feet or submit him on the mat but either way it will be a one sided domination.
Jun Yong Park has won five of his last six fights and has a substantial advantage on the mat. His opponent Denis Tiuliulin is in my opinion one of the weakest on the UFC Middleweight roster and should be easy work for Park, who will likely secure a submission victory.

Undercard Multi 2 - Ji Yeon Kim + Hyun Sung Park
Ji Yeon Kim is on a four-fight losing streak which often would put me off but she has such a substantial advantage over Mandy Bohm. Bohm has one of the most abysmal gas tanks I have seen in women’s MMA anywhere and doesn’t do enough early to cause enough issues for Kim. Kim either stops her with strikes late or secures a one-sided decision victory.
Hyun Sung Park is an undefeated prospect who is equally adept on the mat as he is on the feet. He meets Seung Guk Choi this weekend and fights Park in the Road to the UFC semis. Park simply should have him outclassed on the feet and if need be has the submission skills to put him away on the mat if things get shaky in the striking department.
Multi 3 - Taira + Park + Kim + Park ($3.40 Bet365) - 1.5u
