Team WE vs Rare Atom
Team WE lost against Ultra Prime (1-2) on Saturday, marking their third consecutive defeat of the season. They have previously lost against Bilibili Gaming (1-2) and OMG (0-2), which are concerning results, but it could be worse.
But despite what their three-game losing streak might suggest, Team WE are not playing that poorly, and they shouldn't have lost against Ultra Prime this past weekend. That doesn't change the fact that WE are 1-9 with a 24% map win rate (6-19), but I wouldn't say that WE are the worst team in the league.
Rare Atom are in a much better spot ahead of this match, with a 5-5 series record and a four-game winning streak. Over that stretch, Rare Atom won against LGD Gaming (2-1), ThunderTalk Gaming (2-1), Royal Never Give Up (2-0), and FunPlus Phoenix (2-0), which might look great, but it’s really not that impressive.
Rare Atom's only notable win of those four was against Royal Never Give Up, and even in that match, RNG played surprisingly poorly, so I wouldn't jump to any conclusions. I can't deny that Rare Atom have looked better than Team WE, but they're not a good team.
At 3.10, Team WE are massive underdogs to defeat Rare Atom, which is a justifiable price if you consider the teams' record this season. But Team WE had to play without their star jungler for half of the split so far, so their results don't necessarily show how good Team WE are. Trust the underdogs to show up and win at least one map.

LGD Gaming vs Invictus Gaming
The second match of the day will see two of the oldest esports organizations in the LPL clash for survival and a chance to reach the playoffs. Invictus Gaming enter the sixth week of LPL 2022 Spring with a 4-6 record, just one win short of a top-10, while LGD Gaming still seek their third win of the season, having missed their chance to go 3-6 last Friday, when they lost against ThunderTalk Gaming.
As their record suggests, both teams are relatively terrible and should have no business competing in the playoffs, but that won't stop them from trying. They both still have a chance to finish top-10; however, the road to the playoffs is much more challenging for LGD Gaming.
This will be LGD Gaming's easiest remaining match of the season and possibly their last chance to win one more game. After playing Invictus Gaming, LGD will need to face EDG, Weibo Gaming, Royal Never Give Up, LNG Esports, Top Esports, and Bilibili Gaming, and it's fair to assume that they won't win a single one.
So LGD Gaming should be motivated to win on Monday, and they have some solid results behind them. Including three close games against ThunderTalk Gaming (1-2), Victory Five (1-2), and Rare Atom (1-2).
But in the same way, Invictus Gaming had good performances over the last two weeks, with a 2-1 win against JD Gaming and Bilibili Gaming. Having beaten two of the strongest LPL teams, Invictus Gaming deserves respect, and I'm not surprised to see them priced as the favourites for this clash. But LGD Gaming are good enough to win at least one map. Bet on over 2.5 maps.
