Dedicated eSports betting platform Skrilla have announced a rebrand, as they will now be known as Picklebet moving forwards. The betting platform and accounts remain the same, it’s simply a change of branding.
In a statement on their website, the Picklebet team said, “Our goal for 2020 is to continue providing Australian gamers with the leading eSports betting platform, while expanding to serve our community in international markets. With that goal in mind, we thought a rebrand was in order.”
“Picklebet was chosen for a few reasons. We wanted to have ‘bet’ in our name, so that new audiences instantly understand who our platform serves. We also wanted a brand that is memorable, and exudes fun, which helps us in achieving our mission, to be the most celebrated eSports betting platform globally.”
Skrilla was launched in 2018 to provide punters with a dedicated platform for eSports betting and daily fantasy contests, with a long-term goal of incorporating cryptocurrency as a means for players to fund accounts.
Picklebet will continue to offer markets for all of the major eSports contests from around the world, including CS:GO, DOTA2 and League of Legends.
