The 2020 Call of Duty League continues this weekend as we head to Atlanta for the second official event of the season. It was a great result for us in London two weeks ago as our tip, the Chicago Huntsmen, earned the win and the 50 CDL points to move to the top of the standings.
Atlanta Faze is one of the hot favourites for the Call of Duty League this season and they will be in action for the first time this weekend as they host the event in Atlanta.
Call of Duty League Week 3 (Atlanta) Betting Tips
The Huntsmen looked absolutely unstoppable in London, taking out the event whilst only dropping a total of three maps through four games. They came up against one of the biggest rivals, the Dallas Empire, in both the Group A finals and again in the Grand Final, winning both matches with a dominant 6-1 map count.
With the perfect 20 points earned in the launch weekend and a further 50 for winning the first official event of the season, the Huntsmen take a commanding 30 point lead over their nearest rivals at the top of the table. They are yet to lose a match throughout the Call of Duty League, racking up a 6-0 record with a 18-4 map count.

Despite their dominant performance in London, the Huntsmen aren’t favourites for the Atlanta tournament this weekend. Those honours go to the home side, the Atlanta Faze, who didn’t make the trip to London, but finished the launch weekend with a perfect 2-0 record and a 6-1 map count.
The squad of aBeZt, Simp, Cellium, MajorManiak and Priestahh are fairly unproven as a collective, with no Call of Duty Championships between them, but impressed in the launch weekend and will be looking to play well in their home event.
While the Atlanta roster is definitely a talented one, we aren’t sure if we agree with the $1.60 price tag they have attracted for their home event. The season is still extremely young and they will be coming up against some star studded teams in the likes of the Huntsmen and Optic Gaming LA.
It’s extremely hard for us to look past the Huntsmen once again this week. They proved how much better they were than their competition in London, and it wasn’t even their star players who carried the bulk of the workload in the tournament win.
Young SMG player Envoy was the standout performer for the Huntsmen in London, earning a spot in the team of the tournament while the other youngster of the team, Arcitys, was also super impressive. Expect the superstars in Formal and Scump to come to the party this week in Atlanta and the Huntsmen to capture another tournament win and 50 more CDL points.
