PGA Tour players enjoyed a week off last week but the action resumes this week as we head to Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas for the annual Hero World Challenge. As always, we have you covered with a full preview and betting tips for the event below.
Hero World Challenge Betting Tips
Albany Golf Club, Bahamas
Thursday 1st - Sunday 4th December
The Field
As this isn’t considered an official PGA Tour event, no FedEx Cup points will be up for grabs in this event, however, World Ranking points are on offer, so some big names will be teeing it up in Round 1 on Thursday morning.
Hosted by Tiger Woods, just 20 players will be competing in the reduced field event with no cut. The field in it’s entirety can be viewed below.
Field: Jon Rahm, Scottie Scheffler, Tony Finau, Viktor Hovland, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, Tommy Fleetwood, Matt Fitzpatrick, Xander Schauffele, Shane Lowry, Colin Morikawa, Sungjae Im, Corey Connors, Sam Burns, Kevin Kisner, Max Homa, Cameron Young, Billy Horschel, Sepp Straka.
Big names that are missing from the event include the likes of Rory McIlroy, Patrick Cantlay, Will Zalatoris and Hideki Matsuyama.
The Course
Albany Golf Club, Bahamas

7,309 Yards
Now in its sixth year of host of the Hero World Challenge, the Albany Golf Club was designed by Ernie Els and combines the best of links and desert golf into one stunning course. The average winning score at the Albany Golf Club in the five previous events has been just short of 20 under par.
Betting Tips
Given the reduced field this week, I’ll just be giving out two tips rather than the usual four.
Tony Finau ($10)
The first player I like the value of this week is Tony Finau. The No.11 ranked player in the world has a great record at the Albany Golf Club, playing in the last three events there for finishes of 2nd, 10th and 7th. In solid form at the moment as well, coming off a win in his last start.
Max Homa ($26)
Homa has been one of the favourites in the last few events he has played due to largely lacking fields. He finds himself lower in the betting market this time around, which I like because I think he is one of the form golfers in the world at the moment. Love the odds of him to finish in the top half of the field, will be heavy on that.
Max Homa to Win ($26) 1 Unit
Tony Finau Top 6 ($2.00) 3 Units
Max Homa Top 10 ($1.80) 5 Units
Tony Finau to win
$10 (1 Unit)
