Was simply slaughtered by Glyn Schofield last start at Wyong and has the ability to win a race like this. The money suggested first up he should have just won and he's been backed again today which tells me he should handle the conditions. $2.70 available but could start shorter.
Best Value: Race 9 Rosaleisha
Even race but has a good first up record, a good record at the distance and has also placed at both starts on Heavy ground. Two trials leading into this so should be ready to run a race at $9.
SANDOWN RACING TIPS
R1 - Scallop
R2 - Creativity / Sundell EW
R3 - Pop Queen
R4 - Gold Blush
R5 - Rockstar Rebel / Assertive Star EW
R6 - Ariaz EW
R7 - Goodwill
R8 - Dance For Me
Best Bet: Race 5 Rockstar Rebel
Huge run first up in a very strong form race behind Mr Sneaky and Theanswermyfriend. Theanswermyfriend has since come out and won easily so the form for a race like this is very good. The extra distance is ideal and the only query is the Soft ground.
Best Value: Race 5 Assertive Star
Same race as Rockstar Rebel but I think we'll see sharp improvement from Assertive Star here at 25/1. Did nothing first up but never does, and typically improves sharply 2nd up with two wins from three races. Good at this distance and has won on Heavy ground so looks a big price.
