Super Rugby Pacific Round 5 Betting Tips
ACT Brumbies vs Fijian Drua
Friday March 14, 7.35pm (AEDT)
The market says this will be a one act affair, but Fijian Drua are a side on the up and did cause an upset last week when beating the ladder leading Chiefs in a ripping contest, with their defense being a real highlight. The score line did flatter the Chiefs somewhat so to put that sort of performance up against the title favourites, that bodes well for the season. But, they take on the Brumbies, who ended a New Zealand hoodoo last week when just beating the Blues in what was a fabulous contest. They were poor at home previously against the Western Force but bounced back to their best and returning home, they should win.

Crusaders vs Western Force
Saturday March 15, 2.35pm (AEDT)
The Crusaders aren't the dominant side they once were, bu that said, they are a force and will be a title threat, especially if last week is any guide, when thrashing the Queensland Reds 43-19, putting their cards on the table for the title and beating one of the leading Aussie teams. The Force have had a good start to the season but after being up for a few weeks, they came off it last week against the Waratahs, and I actually think the 34-10 scoreline flattered them. They were comprehensively beaten and this weekend, this game...it looks a bridge too far.
Queensland Reds vs New South Wales Waratahs
Saturday March 15, 7.35pm (AEDT)
This is match of the round for me. All Aussie affair and it could be an early trial for the respective coaches when it comes to the upcoming Wallabies coaching gig. The Waratahs have had the best start to a season for them since 2009 when they were a proper powerhouse of the competition. The Reds had a great start to their season too but came crashing back to Earth and reality last week when thumped by the Crusaders while the Waratahs took care of an ordinary Western Force side. At home, just leaning towards the Reds but think this game will be close.
