SHA TIN BEST BETS
RACE 4
(8) Victory In Hand makes his debut here after four trials spanning the course of five months. He's looked good when stepping out, recording a win at his third trial and a close-up 2nd at his most recent. Zac Purton jumps aboard for trainer Francis Lui for his debut today and from barrier 7 he could be able to scoot across to the outside rail (better ground). There's $6.50 available for him which looks a good each way price. I think he'll be in the finish so a 1x3 play ($2.25 to place) looks the way to go.

RACE 8
(9) Multimillion might be able to bounce back from his recent failure. He stepped up to 1200m and finished second last, beaten 9L, but he drops back to his pet track and distance of the 1000m here. He's got three wins and two placings from six starts at this trip. In his two starts prior to last start, he beat (11) Goko, and he meets that horse better at the weights today thanks to a 2.5kg claim for Cash Wong. The query is he draws barrier 2 so will need to show good speed to find the outside rail, but if he gets across he could take some beating at $5.50.
RACE 11
(1) Prince Of Gems was well held in 2nd last start and although he carries top weight of 133lbs today, he looks to find a very winnable race. Drawn barrier 2, he has the early speed to lead here and if he gets some comfortable sections in front, he'll take plenty of running down. Purton retains the ride and this looks an easier race than the one he contested last start. Hard to beat.
(11) Prince Of Gems
