We are back with some more mid-week racing tips for Wednesday, the 1st of February. @Tim_Tips takes a closer look at the Sandown and Wyong meets today and gives tips for every race below.
SANDOWN RACING TIPS
R1 - That Rings A Bell
R2 - Kedleston / Redcore EW
R3 - Devilishly
R4 - Dusty Jack
R5 - Sweet Melody
R6 - Lady Effort
R7 - Private Lounge
R8 - Swiss Beauty EW
Best Bet: Race 5 Sweet Melody
Consistent Weir runner that had his second run over this distance last start and ran on very well from the back of the field to finish 2nd behind the highly promising Crocodile Rock. That form looks very strong and a repeat performance would see him win this. Well weighted and well drawn, $2 looks a reasonable price.
Best Value: Race 8 Swiss Beauty
Locking in the $9 fixed available for this Weir runner who broke her maiden in Heavy conditions at Cranbourne last start. She contested a reasonable race on debut when finishing 3rd and we've seen Weir bring runners to town after a maiden win with great success before.
WYONG RACING TIPS
R1 - Lord Zof
R2 - Crystal Choice
R3 - Tamarack EW
R4 - Sahara Eagle
R5 - Hirokin
R6 - Oxford Magic
R7 - Treviso
R8 - Right As Rain
Best Bet: Race 4 Sahara Eagle
Ran well on debut over 1400m at Kembla Grange where he finished 2nd but importantly beat the third horse by over 4 lengths. That generally means the first couple are above average and the step up to 1600m should be in his favour. Big player.
Best Value: Race 3 Tamarack
Interesting runner on debut for Joe Pride and won a trial leading into this at Warwick Farm. This is a fairly competitive race but draws well here on debut and if he brings trial form to raceday he could be a decent each way bet at $10.
